This film was on the television and I saw part of it with my kids and wife and everyone was laughing. So I order the DVD so we can see entire film and it is a family favorite. We watch many times and always laugh. Dr. Cosby makes funny faces and the story is crazy. I thought Ghost movie would be scary for the kids, but this one is just funny. And story is about family-so has good message. Not violence. The kids laugh at the silly parts and adults like the story and the dialogue so it works on different level. This is family classic! 100% PURE DRECK! I am a former 35mm film collector who once had this print in my collection. I also am a union projectionist and ran this film in Detroit area theatres when it first came out. When you buy DVD you expect DVD quality. This copy looks like a third or fourth generation dub from a worn out VHS tape in SLP mode. Some day MGM/UA will release a pristine print. I saw this movie while working for a private ambulance company in Los Angeles. Four of us got off work one morning and went to see the movie. Right from the beginning, we were laughing so hard that we could barely keep our seats. It was way too real! There is a ton of "inside" humor in this movie that makes it all the better to watch. Years later, I was working as a fire-service Paramedic and I would loan out my VHS tape copy of it to trainees and tell them it was a 'training film' they could watch at home.
