Ernest Dickerson, one-time cinematographer for Spike Lee and director of Demon Knight, said during the initial release of this film that he chose the project because he was a lifelong fan of the horror genre. Other horror fans should be thankful, because without Dickerson's enthusiasm and visual sense, this derivative gorefest wouldn't come close to the entertainment level that it ultimately achieves. The film was the first big- screen adaptation of HBO's Tales from the Crypt series, a show based on the EC comic books of the '50s. Like Creepshow before it, Demon Knight blends fair amounts of blood, sex, and knowing comedy with a paper-thin plot that doesn't leave a bit of room for subtext. Dickerson understands this, so instead he pumps the flick full of... Learn More

Invincible opens with a glorious display of high comic book melodrama, as a malevolent superbeing named Os (Billy Zane, chewing the scenery with his dependable gusto) battles it out with a force of light called the White Warrior. When she opens his heart to love, Os finds himself commissioned to assemble a team of mortal human beings destined from before birth to become hyperhuman protectors of life--and only they can save the earth from the Shadowmen and their truly bad leader, Slate. It's all ridiculous, but for a while Invincible is completely entertaining, directed with verve, visual flash (including surprisingly good special effects and well-choreographed kung fu), and a silly but effective script. Unfortunately, about half-way through the movie grows ... Sniper One is a fantastic movie which accurately depicts the life of a sniper in South America. Billy Zane does an excellent job of playing a government desk employee. Sniper Two has much more action and a new twist around every turn. Tom Berenger does a tip-top job. He is cinema gold in this amazing movie. Sniper 1 and 2 are my favorite movies of all time. A must see for everyone! More Info About This DVD Actor(s): Tom Berenger - Billy Zane Director(s): Luis Llosa DVD Release Date: Released the 01 July 2003 Usually ships within 24 hours

Tom Berenger and Billy Zane head the cast in this silly action film about a tough Marine and an Olympics marksman who team up in the Panamanian jungle to take out a rebel leader and the drug kingpin financing him. Berenger's done this switched-off soul bit before, but Zane doesn't seem quite ready for his part. In any case, the acting doesn't matter as much to director Luis Llosa as fancy camerawork to give viewers the sense of a bullet hurling along its trajectory. --Tom KeoghMore Info About This DVD Actor(s): Tom Berenger - Billy Zane Director(s): Luis Llosa DVD Release Date: Released the 06 March 2001 Usually ships in 24 hours

This movie didn't get my full attention, perhaps because Rob Schneider is in it, and he annoys me to no end. But Nastassja Kinski's in this one, so I'm obligated to review it. I have vowed to review EVERYTHING she's ever been in, no matter how wretched. Unless a movie is phenomenally bad, it gets 3 stars jut for pure Kinskiness. And she's in it, so it does. This movie doesn't have quite enough Kinskiness in it though. So i am deducting a point!
