The dark, brooding tone of Conan the Barbarian is replaced in this rousing sequel by a lighter, more humorous tone and one of the campiest casts ever assembled. This time, Conan is assigned by a duplicitous queen (Sarah Douglas) to escort a virgin princess (Olivia d'Abo) on a treacherous trek to a crystal palace where they will retrieve a priceless gemstone. Basketball champ and self-described Lothario Wilt Chamberlain plays Bombaata, a warrior sent on a secret mission to kill Conan, and the androgynous Grace Jones plays Zula, a wild woman who becomes Conan's loyal ally. Some consider this sequel a disappointment, but the film makes no apologies for its silliness, and that's the key to its success as gloriously pulpy entertainment. --Jeff ShannonLearn More

I really loved Ellen's WHOLE 5 seasons, altho my favorite episodes on th season 5, are the ones where she is dating Laurie. It's a shame the network pulled the plug on the show (and replaced with another Gay show - Will & Grace!!!) when things were starting to get "good" between Laurie & Ellen!
I had to skip over a few of the episodes since I found them pretty lame (the talk show ones, civil war one, the research - basically all the "non-Gay" ones!), and especially the last two of the Hollywood "tribute" to Ellen - which were both pretty stupid. Sorry just my two cents! More Info About This DVD Director(s): Andrew D. By the time Seinfeld reached season 7, it was already firmly established as one of the top shows on TV. But Jerry Seinfeld and series co-creator Larry David still had plenty of stops to pull out to keep the show at the top of its form. This is the season where George--yes, George (Jason Alexander)--gets engaged. Elaine (Julia Louis Dreyfuss) judges her dates to see who is "sponge-worthy." Jerry deals with low-flow showerheads, buys Chinese gum, and tries to date Debra Messing. And Kramer (Michael Richards) solidifies his own essential Kramer-ness by putting a hot tub in his living room, going around town in Josephs Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, buying jeans so tight he cant take them off, and taking advice on court strategy from his caddy. If there is a unifying theme... More Info About This DVD Director(s): Tom Cherones DVD Release Date: Released the 21 November 2006 Usually ships in 24 hours

With the departure of Khandi Alexander in the seventh episode, the radio-station sitcom became looser and wackier as the season went on. No new costar was immediately brought in, allowing other actors to do more, especially Phil Hartman as WNYX's blowhard anchor, Bill McNeil. Hartman rises to the challenge in his last season; he tragically died before the start of season 5. Bill gets to be boss for a day, works on his lounge act, interviews a jumper (fellow SNL alum Jon Lovitz, his second go-around on the show), tries to prove he can tell jokes, seeks adoption, and invents interviews with celebrities. The penultimate 22-epoisode fourth season starts off with a goody-two-shoes efficiency expert played by future Gilmore Girl Lauren Graham raising havoc: Matthew (Andy Dick) is... The affable crew of WNYX is at it again in this painfully underseen sitcom. The 1996-97 season is more outlandish and escapes the clichés of the secret romance between reporter Lisa (Maura Tierney) and news director Dave (Dave Foley), the most continuous storyline of the first two seasons. Many of the season's episodes deal with the normalcy of the office environment: performance reviews, the complaint box, budget cuts, the annual Halloween party, and office feuds, most involving the wonderfully smug anchor Bill McNeal (Phil Hartman in what should have been his signature role) and daffy reporter Matthew (Andy Dick, certainly his signature role). However, NewsRadio creator Paul Simms and the writers push the envelope, including placing Bill in a mental ward (meeting patient Jon... I was fortunate enough to watch this at a special screening with Budd Boetticher in attendance. It's a moment I will remember for the rest of my life. If the intro to the film doesn't get you excited I don't know what will. This along with The Tall T are his greatest movies. Please if you get a chance to see a Boetticher film do so. I'm just glad that they are finally releasing this on dvd and allowing others to experience what I was fortunate to witness.
