This is a great collection and is Chevy Chase's best films. (Well, and Vacation.) My favorite out of the three would have to be Spies Like Us. It's so funny when they go into the tent with a bunch of docter's and they pretend to be docter's and they greet each other like this "Doctor, doctor, doctor, nice to meet you doctor, doctor, docter, docter, nice to meet you, doctor, and doctor. Funny farms special features are horrible. All we get on the menu is Play, Scene Selction, and Set Up. Come on warner, for this classic, aleast add a trailer and a commentary. But Spies Like Us is WORSE. How, all it has on the main menu is Play and Scene Selection. Not even a set up, and yet it's fullscreen. Shame on you warner. Caddyshack's features are ok. Good documentary but should have had a... More Info About This DVD Actor(s): Chevy Chase DVD Release Date: Released the 16 September 2003 Usually ships within 24 hours

Before his movie career completely tanked, Chevy Chase made one of the few films that gave him a chance to display his comic versatility: 1985's Fletch, the Michael Ritchie-directed comedy about an investigative reporter who specializes in going undercover on big stories. Lightning, however, didn't strike twice when Ritchie and Chase went back to Gregory MacDonald's novels for a second helping. This sequel features Chase once again as Fletch, super-reporter, who heads from L.A. to the South, where he supposedly has inherited an estate. Before long, he's become involved in a murder plot and is trying to stay out of the killer's sights himself. The material is considerably weaker, revealing Chase's shortcomings as an ad lib comic. --Marshall FineMore Info About This DVD Actor(s): Chevy Chase - Hal Holbrook Director(s): Michael Ritchie DVD Release Date: Released the 02 September 2003 Usually ships in 24 hours

This is the movie that established Chevy Chase as a serious actor. It's a pity nobody was watching. Chevy Chase plays Nick Halloway, a solitary man made invisible by a freak accident. Chevy does an incredible job conveying the horror of being completely unnoticed, and puts a dark, and credible spin on a rather outlandish plot. Sam Neil is the CIA agent that wants him for his 'gifts'. Like always, Sam hits it dead on. Daryl Hannah covers the love intrest, and plays the part to satisfaction, although it's fairly obvious she didn't land the part becuase of her acting talents. Special effects were the best for the time, and aren't dated to the point were they distract from the story. The plot is strong, and ever-present, and the direction is excellent thanks to John Carpenter. I strongly... Vacation paved the way for the John Hughes movie dynasty of the 1980s. Written by Hughes (who would go on to write, direct, and/or produce The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Uncle Buck, Home Alone, and so on) and directed by Harold Ramis (Caddyshack, Groundhog Day, Stuart Saves His Family), the first Vacation movie introduces us to the all-American Griswold family: father Clark (Chevy Chase), mother Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo), son Rusty (future Hughes staple Anthony Michael Hall), and daughter Audrey (Dana Barron). They all pile into the car for a cross-country road trip to Walley World, stopping along the way to view the world's biggest ball of twine. John Candy, Imogene Coca, and Randy Quaid (as yokel Cousin... More Info About This DVD Actor(s): Chevy Chase - Beverly D'Angelo DVD Release Date: Released the 19 August 2003 Usually ships in 24 hours

As a Chevy Chase comedy, Man of The House is far from his funniest; however, it works well as a family drama.
The story's sort of an inverted "Courtship of Eddie's Father." In this case it's the boy's mother (Farrah Fawcett) who is single, and the boy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas of Home Improvement, Tom and Huck, etc.) is wary of her new fiancee, a prosecutor named Sturges (Chase). Still feeling burnt by his ex-dad, the boy tries everything to get rid of the prospective one. Some of this is funny, like when he paints Sturges's face with Indian war paint that won't come off, and the parts that aren't funny are still interesting and help develop the characters and story. I think the film is most effective in that it demonstrates the persistence of faith necessary to build a family,... After winning a tour package in a game show, the bickering Griswald family carve a trail of destruction through England (where they knock over Stonehenge), France, Germany, and Italy. Somehow Ellen (Bevery D'Angelo), the mom, gets kidnapped by gangsters, leading to a car chase that reunites the family, despite their differences. It's hard to believe that National Lampoon's European Vacation is only the second of the Vacation movies; it has the exhausted pallor of the last of a long series of sequels, drained of all zest or original ideas. The charmless smirk of Chevy Chase, mechanical in its idiocy, hangs over European Vacation like a death mask. It's hard to believe that this hack was once the funny and sexy hero of Foul Play. D'Angelo keeps her chin up and... More Info About This DVD Actor(s): Chevy Chase - Beverly D'Angelo Director(s): Amy Heckerling DVD Release Date: Released the 02 April 2002 Usually ships in 24 hours
