The Dukes of Hazzard: The Complete Fourth Season finds the redneck comedy down to a fine science almost comforting in its predictability. Cousins Bo (John Schneider) and Luke (Tom Wopat) still raise hell with the General Lee in rural Hazzard County (and still have no visible means of financial support). Daisy Duke (Catherine Bach) is still the picture of wildflower innocence despite her tomboyish temper and barely legal short-shorts. Uncle Jesse Duke (Denver Pyle) still basks in righteous anger at longtime enemy (and fellow former moonshiner) Jefferson Davis "Boss" Hogg (Sorrell Booke), the latter an unrepentant schemer for whom every living thing seems an obstacle in his quest for vast (and unethically acquired) wealth. As sure as the sun rises every day, any scene involving Boss... Learn More

Oh, how these shows bring me back to my childhood years. I'm 32 now and I still love watching them. I only hope that my kids will enjoy them as much as I did. I wish they were all filmed in their original location (Covington, GA). I also hope that they release the reunion movies on DVD soon. I believe my hometown was mentioned a couple of times in the shows also. I'll always be a loyal Dukes of Hazzard fan!!!! This was a very good movie but there are too many questions left unanswered at the end. In fact, the last two minutes go by so fast you have to look quick to see what is happening. They were not done very well either. It's like being served a big juicy steak and then forced to swallow it whole.
In Mr Schneider's commentary he says "The purpose of the movie is to raise questions, then answer them at the end". What happened? Was he late for dinner or did he run out of film?
All the wishes were granted and there were no "bad guys" but why didn't the director add a few minutes to answer some of the many questions left unanswered. To me, we were cheated out of a complete ending.
Did Mary go home on Christmas eve? What were the conservations after the... More Info About This DVD Director(s): John Schneider DVD Release Date: Released the 04 November 2003 This item is currently not available.
