Why is this movie getting 2 and half stars here, maybe people are getting tired of seeing all these different version of Charles Dicken's book. Or maybe this is a musical version of it, or that there is about a song almost every 5 mintues or so in this movie? This movie was made and shown on NBC last year, and I first heard of this verison the summer that it was filming, which would be summer of 04. Kelsey Grammer who is best know for playing Frasier on Cheers and it's spinoff show, is cast in this movie. As the movie opens, it is Christmas Eve, which takes to some sort of exchange, that Mr. Ebenezer Scrooge (Kelsey Grammer) works at, and it is close to closing time, Bob Cratchit (Edward Gower) is at work even if he has a cold, which has Scrooge, telling him to "get rid of that". I used to not like Frasier matter of fact I used to change the channel everytime when I was in early teens. Luckily through one of my friends who had the first season and had nothing to do I decided to give it a chance and it was great. I Became fan of Frasier and hooked. The sixth season is great with great triumph for Niles who finally get divorced. The show is great if enjoy saucy,sassy,and witty comedy this show has it. Frasier's fourth season was mostly about relationships. Niles (David Hyde Pierce), now separated from Maris, is back on the market like his bachelor brother, Frasier (Kelsey Grammer).
