This is a great holiday movie for the whole family. All of my kids enjoyed it as much as I did! It was great to see Crystal Bernard back in a "fun" role and with the old Helen from Wings look back again!!
There is a sequel to this movie coming out this year. On Dec 17th Hallmark will premire 'Meet The Santas'. Should be another good movie!! More Info About This DVD Actor(s): Steve Guttenberg DVD Release Date: Released the 08 November 2005 Usually ships in 24 hours

In the spirit of Romancing the Stone, this movie (Originally "Don't Tell Her It's Me") feels like a very cute romance novel turned into movie format. Shelley Long is her regular likeable but vaguely annoying self as the romance writer & match-making sister to Steve Guttenberg, who turned out one of his most enjoyable performances. He's an idiot but a cute idiot, though I might've wished for someone a little sexier as a compliment to the oh-so-beautiful Jami Gertz. Very fun & light-hearted romantic comedy. So boring! Totally predictable--your average "feel good" sports movie. A new teacher arrives in a small town and decides to teach the misfit kids that inhabit it soccer. They're horrible when they first try. She then announces to them that their first game is the next day (I believe... i know the game is soon). They're all worried. They lose to the "Knights" (see? predictable NAME too). Somehow they end up in the finals, against the Knights again. They defeat them and receive a huge trophy that looks more like they won a pro sports championship instead of a kid's soccer league competition.
I never really understood the name of the team... "The Big Green?" Isn't the field in the middle of their town The Big Green? And what does that have to do with the team name whatsoever?... I fondly recall watching Police Academy 4 with my nephews who were big fans of this series and also had the action figure toys. Police Acadamy 4 is pretty funny and I liked it just as much as the first 3 movies in the series. BTW: This is Steve Guttenberg's last Police Academy movie and he did not star in Police Academy 5 which just wasn't the same without him so sit back and enjoy watching Steve Guttenberg's final performance as Mahoney! Ok, in all fairness the original Police Academy will probably always be the funniest, but if you never get the chance to see parts, 2,4,5,6,or Mission to Moscow, you're really not missing anything...Part 3 does have some original funny moments and is hence my personal favorite of an otherwise overrated and overplayed set of movies!..You may disagree but part 3 really is the only truly funny one.
