This item was a big disappointment and a waste of money for me. I love TamiLee and her Arms and Abs video from a few years ago. That's why I was excited to see what I thought was a newer production of Arms and Abs workouts. The cover was different than the video and there was no reference to the older video in the description, so I thought the DVD contained all new workouts.
The 3 Arms and Abs workouts were exactly the same as the old video, so did me no good. I didn't buy the DVD for the lower body workouts, but viewed them just to see what they were. Two out of three are somehow cued incorrectly from the DVD menu, meaning you select workout 2, for example, and the DVD takes you to the cool down session from workout number 1!

I bought this dvd after seeing a recommendation by a celeb in a fitness magazine. Bad idea. I have several fitness dvd's from various outlets and this is the worst ever. Tamilee even gets confused telling you 4 more - oops 6 more when counting reps. It is formatted for vcr not dvd. It is not inspiring or motivating. Your money is better spent with other products. I've only used each one (very beginner here) once, skipping the extra blast. Unfortunately, I'm having to return/replace due to Rock Hard being defective. I didn't have a problem with her short bursts of sing-a-long, but I felt she had a few lyrics wrong ;o) Either way, Tamilee is still my favorite! The price (especially if you buy the DVDs separately) is high compared to other workouts. Also, I so wish they were on one DVD rather than two - it takes a couple minutes titles and such before you can access the DVD menu). As short workouts, I think the weight loss workout is very good and cardioblast is decent.
WEIGHT LOSS:
30 minutes of toning on a step (but one of the back-up instructors performs a floor modification),
10 minute abs bonus workout in the "special features" section.
Great toning for the lower body (and abs when you do the bonus workout). Upper body segments are brief. I've had dozens of exercise videos and this is the most fun I've had working out. Tamilee's steps are easy but they give a good workout. You can make it gentle or strenous depending on how much you bounce and move your arms around. I felt this workout afterwards on my legs and arms. The music is very danceable, too. I appreciate that the exercises don't all have perfect bodies, although they are all pretty. I'm not much of a dancer, but I mastered all the steps after a couple of sessions. This workout also makes me feel like a better dancer. I can't wait to get Tamilee's other "Fit to the Hits" DVD and her other exercise videos. I really like Tamilee (particularly I Want Those... series), but this and its cousin, the Motown Moves video/dvd are very basic. Again, it is annoying when she sings along and the "workout" wear in these will show you it is a junior high dance of a workout with costumes instead of a tough fitness routines.
