Quentin Tarantino came out of nowhere (i.e., a video store in Manhattan Beach, California) and turned Hollywood on its ear in 1992 with his explosive first feature, Reservoir Dogs. Like Tarantino's mainstream breakthrough Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs has an unconventional structure, cleverly shuffling back and forth in time to reveal details about the characters, experienced criminals who know next to nothing about each other. Joe (Lawrence Tierney) has assembled them to pull off a simple heist, and has gruffly assigned them color-coded aliases (Mr. Orange, Mr. Pink, Mr. White) to conceal their identities from being known even to each other. But something has gone wrong, and the plan has blown up in their faces. One by one, the surviving robbers find their way back... Learn More

Robert Altman, the great ironist of American movies, can't resist beginning Vincent & Theo with video of an art auction at Christie's, where Van Gogh's Sunflowers attracts dizzying multi-million-dollar bids. Dissolve to the utterly squalid hovel where Vincent (Tim Roth) lives--reminding us that the artist sold but one painting in his poor, tormented lifetime. Vincent & Theo is an unusual and--fittingly enough--impressionistic look at Vincent and his brother Theo (Paul Rhys), the mad genius and the art broker. These parallel lives unfold, with Vincent's celebrated wallow in the fires of art running alongside Theo's neurotic struggle to fit into the real world. Roth is mesmerizing and frightening as Vincent, while Rhys gives a more mannered performance that fits Theo's... Tom Stoppard's modern stage classic finds a pair of film actors worthy of its verbal japery and existential bewilderment: Gary Oldman and Tim Roth are deliciously locked in as the title characters of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. And yet it remains difficult to tell which one is Rosencrantz and which Guildenstern--even they seem unsure--a clever part of Stoppard's ingenious design. Focusing on a pair of unremarkable characters from Hamlet, Stoppard sees the great play from their confused perspective. Now and again the action of Hamlet sweeps them up, but most of the time R&G are left wondering where they are, what they have been sent for, and why they can't remember anything that happened before the beginning of the play. Richard Dreyfuss (fittingly... More Info About This DVD Actor(s): Gary Oldman - Tim Roth Director(s): Tom Stoppard DVD Release Date: Released the 22 March 2005 Usually ships in 24 hours

This film is a perfect example of great, modern, cinematic storytelling. The entire film pulsates with energy, excitement and a sense of overwhelming interest. It has developed a large cult following and I am proud to say that I am a member of that cult. This film always holds a place on my favourite films list.
It is the story of a group of thieves and criminals who are brought together to rob a jewelry store that is getting a large shipment of diamonds. The plan goes haywire and the robbery turns into a mess. People are killed, alarms go off and the cops are there in record time indicating a rat in the group. The film follows the characters after the robbery has taken place and by using flashbacks shows us what has happened. The film is mostly dialogue, with characters arguing,... The Legend of 1900 is an outstanding flick, truly great. Bodies, Rest & Motion is one of those flicks that you keep watching because you're hoping it has to get better. It never does. Don't bother with buying the combo of the two flicks. Just get Legend. Only because Legend is such a strong 5 stars by itself keeps me from rating the combo lower.
