The second season of Leave It to Beaver finds the Cleaver family happy and wholesome as ever, with most episodes involving the Beaver getting into a scrape, or hearing the from-the-mountaintop advice from Mom or Dad afterwards. Despite the formula, the episodes hold up well, because of the earnestness of the actors and the delivery of their lines, which is, well, swell. Another great western series that is long overdo for DVD release. The 3 episodes picked were very good and in top quality. However this series would be best sold in complete season sets like most other tv shows are being released today A.S.A.P. There are too many great episodes not to release them in seasons. I have to agree with the comments on video quality of these two features. I was able to display the image without the compression by setting my DVD player for a 16 x 9 aspect ratio on my standard 3 x 4 TV.
