Take the first Pirates of the Caribbean film, add a dash of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and a lot more rum. Shake well and you'll have something resembling Dead Man's Chest, a bombastic sequel that's enjoyable as long as you don't think too hard about it. The film opens with the interrupted wedding of Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), both of whom are arrested for aiding in the escape of Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) in the first film. Their freedom can only be obtained by getting Captain Jack's compass, which is linked to a key that's linked to a chest belonging to Davy Jones, an undead pirate with a tentacle face and in possession of a lot of people's souls. If you're already confused, don't worry--plot is definitely not the... Learn More

While we are getting ready to say goodbye to John Boy in the 5th season (not this 4th season), every episode deserves 5 stars. I loved this show growing up (high school) and can watch reruns forever. I'm planning on purchasing all seasons, as I treasure every episode. This is my all time favorite television show and, I think, always will be. The final season isn't as strong as the other seasons, but it has a good share of episodes. The only episode that was kind of all right was the "strange visitor to Hazzard" (I guess they were trying to get style points for having an alien invade hazzard.). Other than that, I'm happy to finally have all seven seasons of the dukes that I can watch over and over without commercials.
In the final season, toy models of each of the cars/vans were used for the jumps and other stunt sequences. Most of the real "General Lee" jumps were taken from the fourth, fifth & sixth seasons, with the exception of "Dukes in Hollywood", where they used the real Charger for a jump scene, and also "Danger on the Hazzard Express", although it was a small jump. The stunts with the toy models were done... Wowzers, Lulu Hogg driving the General Lee in "Lulu's Gone Away"! That is soooo fun! Then James Best gets to show his range in "Too Many Roscos," and the various Roscos are shuffled around so much you barely know which one is which. His daughter Janeen shows up as Mary Lou in "A Baby for the Dukes." Boss and Rosco do a drag-thang in "Targets: Daisy and Lulu." And holy cow -- we get to meet Cooter's daughter! Cooter shows his true colors all through the series, but in this one he really shines. The lovely Lydia Cornell of "Too Close for Comfort" guest-stars in the two-parter "Undercover Dukes." Luke's baby brother Jud Kane and his former flame Candy Dix also show up this season. Rapidly regaining momentum after reinstating its two main stars, "The Dukes" rolled in top form in Season 6. The Waltons: The Complete Third Season finds series creator Earl Hamner's running story about the proud, Depression-era family living and working on Walton's Mountain going through some changes. The big news is that oldest son John-Boy (Richard Thomas) is now a freshman at Boatwright University, pursuing his dream of becoming a writer but encountering a lot of tough challenges and distractions. Still living at home but driving to classes every day, John-Boy gets an unpleasant taste of hazing from arrogant upperclassmen, grief from impatient professors, insecurity in a competitive writing class, and an ever-broadening sense of how the other half lives through exotic, quirky, yet sometimes sweet and attractive young women he meets on campus.
Created by Sidney Sheldon (I Dream of Jeannie), Hart to Hart was a Thin Man for the 1980s. Self-made millionaire Jonathan (Robert Wagner, It Takes a Thief) and part-time journalist Jennifer Hart (Stefanie Powers, The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.) even had their own Asta-like pooch, Freeway. Unlike Nick and Nora Charles, however, children weren't part of their globe trotting, crime solving plan. Fortunately, they had trusty butler/Bentley driver Max (Golden Globe winner Lionel Stander) to keep them company.
Mr. And Mrs. H., as Max referred to them, were introduced by 1979's two-part pilot ("Hart to Hart"), which features Roddy McDowall and Stella Stevens as devious doctors and Wagner's future wife, Jill St. John (Diamonds are Forever), as a wealthy... Oh, how these shows bring me back to my childhood years. I'm 32 now and I still love watching them. I only hope that my kids will enjoy them as much as I did. I wish they were all filmed in their original location (Covington, GA). I also hope that they release the reunion movies on DVD soon. I believe my hometown was mentioned a couple of times in the shows also. I'll always be a loyal Dukes of Hazzard fan!!!!
