The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green

I had such high hopes when I first heard this movie was coming out. I saw it in the theater but was quite disappointed. Apart from the character names, it bears little relation to story lines from the comic strip. Even Ethan isn't Ethan: in the strip, he has jet black hair. And I don't recall any baseball player plotline.

One bright spot was Meredith Baxter, who was perfectly cast as Ethan's mom. She looked and came across the same as the comic strip mom. More Info About This DVD
