I don't believe Ethan Hunt can long jump over 25 feet. In MI3, expect less martial art action from Ethan Hunt and more high tech gadgetry. Ethan plays the role of brain coordinator for his "three person" team and action figure in Julia rescue.
Julia Meade vulnerability and whimsical innocent attracts Ethan and allows him to impulsively marry her. Ethan has Julia suspended high above the ground on an emotional mountain and asks her: "Do you trust me?" Julia says she trust Ethan, so he marries her. Luther advises Ethan not to marry Julia, but when Ethan tells Luther he is already married, Luther says, "congratulations". The team eventually rejoices with Ethan's and Julia's marriage and honeymoon.

Plot is still a throwaway here (Cruise's Ethan Hunt rescues his kidnapped former trainee and works to steal a device that... well, we don't really know what it does, but it's something about mass destruction that costs $850 million),...
