Take the first Pirates of the Caribbean film, add a dash of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and a lot more rum. Shake well and you'll have something resembling Dead Man's Chest, a bombastic sequel that's enjoyable as long as you don't think too hard about it. The film opens with the interrupted wedding of Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), both of whom are arrested for aiding in the escape of Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) in the first film. Their freedom can only be obtained by getting Captain Jack's compass, which is linked to a key that's linked to a chest belonging to Davy Jones, an undead pirate with a tentacle face and in possession of a lot of people's souls. If you're already confused, don't worry--plot is definitely not the... Learn More

I was in this film as an extra, I played a guy dressed as a clown, got paid 20 bucks and a free meal for a days work, what a joke, should have flipped the camera off in a background scene. O-well, I did urinate in the director's coffee. Air America is one of those movies that could have been great, and now maintains its low-key reputation as a typical Mel Gibson film in the wake of his first two Lethal Weapon hits. Originally conceived as a biting black comedy about the CIA's top-secret smuggling operation in Laos during the Vietnam war, Air America lost most of its political sting when it was transformed into an action comedy for Gibson and costar Robert Downey Jr. The film is entertaining as far as it goes, with a few action sequences that explain where a lot of the budget went. If you're in the mood for some Mel, this one is a little off the beaten path, and still contains a percentage of its original potential. --Jeff ShannonMore Info About This DVD Actor(s): Mel Gibson - Robert Downey Jr. Director(s): Roger Spottiswoode DVD Release Date: Released the 20 July 2004 Usually ships in 24 hours

This movie really hits close to home for me. My mom and I are both security guards at K Mart and have been for many years. My mom started here before me and she was the one that hooked me up with this job, which was cool because we lived together in the trailer park down the street. The movie reminds me of my mom and I busting all the perps that come into our store and try to cause trouble. Once I had t-shirts made up for me and and my mom that said "Stop or my Mom Will Shoot" on them, and when someone would walk out with something not scaned, I would yell it out. No one that I know shares the same love for the movie that I do, but what do they know, their just jealous of my power. Because when your a security guard, your the man. Thats why we don't carry guns or anything because... With the title Shoot to Kill -- I was waiting for Jonathan Knox to pull out his rifle [like in Sniper] but ah well.
FBI agent Warren Stantin [Poitier] had the obnoxious attitude that went with twenty years on the force, believing he could keep up and survive in the wilderness with Knox.
The lead up to our villian's disappearence into the wilderness was quite excellent. His evasion tactics were unpredictable. [I didn't see it coming].
I could see Sarah becoming his hostage and she did a good job of trekking through the mountain byways to a highway.
Still had to hold my breath for her safety.
Climbing the rock walls and living through the blizzard added a depth to the bonding of these two men. So different from each other in their...
