Personable comedian Jeff Foxworthy seemed a likely candidate in the 1990s to get his own situation comedy on television; thus was born The Jeff Foxworthy Show in '95, lasting two years. Yes, I think Spin City was the best funny sitcom ever. It's one of the very few clever humor series I've seen in half a century of TV watching. I love Seinfeld, Goodness Gracious Me was hilarious and very smart too, but Spin City never failed to make me laugh my head out and still feel intelligent !
But... the production who decided to issue but a few chosen episodes on a couple of DVD must have been the dummiest bunch of executives to work for a TV channel. They probably got fired since such a stupid decision certainly ended up in a financial failure (who wants a best of of the best ?) but the guys still in place probably decided not to issue the complete seasons because these didn't sell !
