What could be more pleasurable than watching screen legend Audrey Hepburn in her most career-defining roles? This is a great three-movie set at a great price, as all three are deserved romantic comedy classics directed by masters - William Wyler, Billy Wilder and Blake Edwards. It appears that Detective Story was given careful consideration from Paramount as noted by the quality of this release. The picture quality is in mint condition and the sound is also very good. The effort and care that was taken is evident the moment this film begins. Anyone who was waiting for this DVD release will have no cause for complaint. Paramount has just released Detective Story along with The Strange Love of Martha Ivers.
