Waste of Money
The scenes are beautiful when you get to see them, but how can you relax with the constant interuptions of the producer's adds?

I bought this DVD along with another as part of an anniversary day. I received and reviewed the DVD with pleasure. The folks that made the DVD did a great job of picking unoccupied beaches and nice locations. Both video quality and sound were excellent. Looks great on a big screen! My only complaint is that they didn't spend longer at each beach, but they did cover every island. Worth the money.

I just received the "Waves: The Best Caribbean Beaches" DVD in the mail today. I am extremely pleased with the visuals. The beaches and waves are very relaxing and soothing. I sat down and watched the whole thing on my widescreen TV as soon as I took the disc out of the media mailer. The visuals were spectacular! I only wish there was a function that splashed my feet whenever the waves lapped past the bottom of my TV screen!
Thank you Greg Voevodsky for producing such a wonderful DVD. I am really looking forward to the future HD Waves productions. I can only imagine how spectacular those will be. Keep up the great work!!!
I bought this video as it was highly recommended by a good friend of mine. My friend was right! "Soothing Waters - California and Oregon" contains scenes from many of the most beautiful places along the coast of these two states. Natural sounds of the pounding surf, birds and other animals, and even the wind, which a couple of other reviewers found disturbing, I enjoyed immensely as it gave me a feeling of actually being in these incredible places. All of the locations are captured beautifully on the video, but my personal favorites are the many long scenes of Point Lobos, as it holds many fond memories for me.

This video is great for "Eye Candy". It has some of the most stunning underwater videography that I have seen, however, this should not be classified as a movie. There is nothing but Video and Background Music. There is no story, no narration, anything at all the resembles the title of "Movie". It would be great as a TV Aquarium or the such.
