Review(s): DVD Adrenalin: Fear the Rush
    horrible from beginnning to end

one of Lamberts sucky films with him and Henstridge going after a man with a virus that can speard and they have to kill him before its to late. begins corny with its lame intro to the killer and its god awful few seconds late suspense music, though theres the part where Lambert gets shot up a bunch of times. strikly for nobrainers

    a different kind of movie

If you're looking for a good story, performances and dialogue look somewhere else. Adrenalin: Fear the Rush (love that name!), deliberately avoids all three, preferring to concentrate on non-stop action, and low-budget action is what Albert Pyun (directer) does best.
While this doesn't appeal to many, if you get into the action you will find Adrenalin a tense and exciting journey, and never boring.

    Adrenalin was a good movie

A lot of people are being harsh towards Adrenalin: Fear the Rush, when it was actually a pretty good movie. The only problem with the movie is the setting. Otherwise the plot and characters were actually pretty good. It had suspense and a few thrills. If you like science fiction type movies, atleast give this movie a chance.

    Resurrection DVD

One thing you can say about Christopher Lambert is that he doesn't make conventional choices when it comes to the movies he makes. Most fans of Chris (and there are a lot of them out there)have stopped trying to figure out why he makes the movies he does, we simply sit back and enjoy. I for one can't figure out why he isnt a household name. The man could be huge if he wanted to go "hollywood" but he does what he wants to do, and I am okay with that. He's got the talent that is for sure. And every woman I know thinks he's got the looks and to quote a friend of mine "has the sexiest voice I have ever heard". I don't have a clue as to whether that is true or not, my idea of a sexy voice would be Shania Twain's. Oh wait I was supposed to be reviewing a movie wasn't I? Resurrection is a dark... The Point Men DVD

Just another B-action flick starring Christopher Lambert. I didn't expect much, but some names on the cover interested me; they were co-starring Kerry Fox ("Shallow Grave" and "Intimacy"), and the director John Glen, who is behind the camera of James Bond films made in the 1980s (from "For Your Eyes Only" to "Licence to Kill"). Not that I mean his works are great -- Roger Moore played Bond at that time, and good as he was, the actions were not particulary great. But Kerry Fox is another matter.

The result is just what I expected, and I don't blame anybody for spending 90 minutes on my life for this ... one. Lambert is a kind of member of secret team who seem to deal with assassination of terrorists. But the team, though apparently successful in killing the target, made a botched job... Wrong Turn DVD

Sultry Eliza Dushku runs for her life in a snug white tanktop, pursued by inbred backwoods cannibals in Wrong Turn. Dushku (Bring It On, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and a clump of other attractive young people (including Six Feet Under's Jeremy Sisto and Desmond Harrington of We Were Soldiers) get waylaid in the deep West Virginia wilds by a trio of grotesque mountain men, all given realistic ugliness by makeup artist Stan Winston (Interview with the Vampire, Terminator 2). Wrong Turn is the sort of movie where you know who's going to die by the order they appear in the credits, but fans of the inbred backwoods cannibals genre (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes) will find much to savor, particularly the... Underworld (Widescreen Special Edition) DVD

Blade meets The Crow and The Matrix in Underworld, a hybrid thriller that rewrites the rulebook on werewolves and vampires. It's a "cuisinart" movie (blend a lot of familiar ideas and hope something interesting happens) in which immortal vampire "death dealers" wage an ancient war against "Lycans" (werewolves), who've got centuries of revenge--and some rather ambitious genetic experiments--on their lycanthropic agenda. Given his preoccupation with gloomy architecture (mostly filmed in Budapest, Hungary), frenetic mayhem and gothic costuming, it's no surprise that first-time director Len Wiseman gained experience in TV commercials and the art departments of Godzilla, Men in Black, and Independence Day. His work is all surface, no substance,... More Info about this DVD

    Dreamcatcher (Widescreen Edition) DVD

Regardless of its critical roasting, Dreamcatcher is a must-see for Stephen King fans. In adapting King's epic novel (itself an amalgam of familiar King plotlines), director Lawrence Kasdan and cowriter William Goldman sacrificed much of the character depth that gave the story its crucial humanity, resulting in a tame frightfest about four longtime friends (Damian Lewis, Jason Lee, Thomas Jane, Timothy Olyphant) whose past--and a shared gift of telepathy--connects them to a present-day alien invasion in the snowy forests of Maine. Like an ambitious episode of The X-Files, this slick production offers slimy "weasels" that gestate in human bowels; ominous aliens who seize control of bodies and minds; a secret military strike (led by Morgan Freeman) against the invaders; and...
