DVD 3 Ninjas
A slightly better movie than you might think, this variation on The Karate Kid finds three youngsters helping out their grandfather in his fight against evil ninja warriors. The real secret weapon here is director Jon Turtletaub, paying some dues on this 1992 family feature; he's since gone on to direct John Travolta in Phenomenon and Sandra Bullock in While You Were Sleeping. --Tom Keogh
There are 3 ninja movies/series i grew up with. 3 Ninjas, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Surf Ninjas. The original 3 ninjas is by far the best and if youve watched it as many times as i have you realize just how funny this movie is. The bad guy has a nuclear warhead! and ninja henchmen that drop from the freaking ceiling! And if you listen to the kidnappers lines you will be laughing body parts off. There are for some reason 2 versions of this movie. With some major differences the biggest i noticed is colt and rocky lose the basketball game and there is a lot of extra footage. I highly reccomend this movie just to laugh at and kids love it.
Rocky ,Colt ,Tum Tum are the 3 NINJAS
The movie is about 3 kids name Rocky,Colt,Tum Tum that are ninjas train by there grandpa. There dad is a FBI agent trying capture a black market salesman but it only leds bad things to home!Actually I enjoy this movie alot because Its so cool kids kicking kindappers butts and fighting together as a team against bad guys.Even though its corny it still a good humor and movie to watch.
Probably the worst film I've ever seen.
I saw this movie for the first time several months ago. The only reason I actually watched it is because my friend had two valid points - there was one hilarious part, and it had the word "'za" in it. The only reason I've given this film 2 stars instead of one is because of the scene where the door slams in the kidnappers face. That is probably the funniest scene in the movie. 3 Ninjas is full of horrible jokes and bad action sequences. Just when I was starting to take them seriously, the Grandpa names the kid "Tum-Tum". Ancient ninja warrior, Tum-Tum! The ending is the worst. I don't want to ruin it for you. Finally: The DVD. It has nothing on it, save the movie. I wanted to see something - behind the scenes, trailers, I don't know. If you really want the movie, buy the VHS.
This movie is fun and has lots of action. Rocky and Tum tum changed actors, but the movie is still good. Unlike High Noon on Mega Mountian. That is a movie you should stay away from it puts 3 ninjas to shame. Stick with the other 3 and you'll have a ggod time. An evil gang takes over an amusement park only to be foiled by three Ninja-trained brothers and a TV action star in this smartly paced (if by-the- numbers) kiddie action flick. Medusa (Loni Anderson) and Lothar (Jim Varney) head up the gang with ransom money and mayhem on their minds. But they don't count on the young Caucasian trio, taught by their inexplicably Asian grandfather, and Dave Dragon (Hulk Hogan), making a live appearance at the park. What follows is campy humor, lots of Karate-esque action and plenty of Home Alone-type boy vs. foolish bad guy high jinks. And girls aren't left out: the brothers' neighbor, a brainy techno girl, is on hand to hack into the computer to override the gang's murderous plans, while also providing 007-style gadgets for hand-to-hand... Made at the height of the pint-sized Ninja comedy craze, this fast-paced adolescent adventure stars teenage black belt Ernie Reyes Jr. as a California beach boy with a royal legacy. One minute he's a smart-mouth surfer and high-school jester, the next he's battling Ninja assassins, romancing a teenage princess (former Miss Teen USA Kelly Hu), and leading his subjects in a rebellion against a vicious metal-clad colonel (Leslie Nielsen). At least it gets him out of class. Real life karate kid and former Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stuntman Reyes has a winning (if somewhat loud) screen presence and Rob Schneider offers a few laughs as Reyes's clueless buddy. Nielsen, however, mugs his way painfully through a glorified cameo. More frantic than funny, with slapstick liberally sprinkled... I am a hug fan of the 3 ninjas, I just don't understand why they would make a "trilogy" of a 4 part movie series. This set contains Kick Back (movie 2), Knuckle Up (movie 3), and High noon at Mega Moutain (movie 4), but some how they neglected the first movie. All on all this is a great set, it is fun to watch them again. For some reason the 3 kids shown on the cover of Knuckle Up aren't even in the movie, but it is better because this on has the 3 main characters back in there roles from the first movie.
