This is greasy-haired, mid-90's, existentialist anti-drama at it's finest. Cliff Spab walks the world, like Camus' Stranger, unaffected by the violence, sex and drugs that inundate him. He stands, balanced on the edge of a knife, sometimes loathing the people around him for their foolishness and self-serving pretensions, and at other times loving them and embracing them for their helplessness and curiousity.
Not all people are capable of enjoying this movie.
A must see for X, Y and any other generation
CULT OF PERSONALITY! How people are sheep and they follow anything and go along with the masses.. A MUST SEE.. A MUST HAVE SOUNDTRACK!! One of the best movies of this genre!
Extreme situations bring out strange things in us....
SFW is an excellent movie with a great overall message to it. The message of the movie could be taken too far by some viewers, but one must realize that the situation the stars of the film were in has placed everything under a microscope. That is something that can make the movie undisirable for most. Excellent camera work, a lot of young talent, very odd story, and a great soundtrack. Looking for something completly different? Want to think for yourself instead of being shown the easy way out of a movie? Watch it.
Freeway is one of those movies that has the power to simultaneously amaze and disgust just about anyone who dares to view it. Like Seven, Kalifornia, and Natural Born Killers, it's a movie that could be called a product of our times, since it caters to our societal fascination with serial killers and outrageous psychopathic behavior. But make no mistake: director Matthew Bright isn't out to feed anyone's sickest impulse. This is a scathing satire in the age of Jerry Springer fistfights and "real" TV shows like Cops, in which the "I-5 Killer" (Kiefer Sutherland) meets a wayward teenager (Reese Witherspoon) on the freeway that provides his nickname. She confides in the man but soon discovers his gruesome intentions, and ... well, let's just say she... At first, Best Laid Plans comes off like yet another all-flash-no-substance crime thriller, but it's one of those rare films that end better than they start. Nick (Alessandro Nivola from Face/Off), broke and desperate to get out of his suffocating small town, agrees to take part in a drug heist. When his partners get caught, he has less than a week to come up with $15,000 or suffer the consequences. When his college buddy Brice (Josh Brolin--Flirting with Disaster) comes back to town, Nick and his girlfriend Lissa (Reese Witherspoon) hatch a plan to bilk Brice out of a rare collectible. Of course, things go wrong--which is where things get entertaining. The plot could use a few more twists to really crackle, but the surprises it does have work, and the ending is both... This is a bit of a copy of 1964's Never Put It In Writing, where someone hastily expresses sentiments in a letter they later wish to withdraw. In both cases a caper-type chase ensues with the hapless stars trying to beat the delivery of the letter. This time, the package is sent by courier rather than mail, so there is much amusement with a comical courier, dedicated to getting the delivery to the recipient on time. In this case, The hero thinks he has evidence his wife has been unfaithful and posts her a disgusting package including a 'bye-bye' letter and a condom. He then has reason to doubt his asumption and chases the package all over America, encountering a serial killer the Grand Canyon on the way.
Reese Witherspoon is sexy and funny, just what we need for a romantic comedy of... More Info about this DVD Director(s): Jason Bloom DVD Release Date: Released the 20 January 2004 Usually ships within 24 hours

Director Diane Keaton brings a tender touch to Wildflower, a Lifetime cable-TV movie showcasing early-career excellence from Reese Witherspoon and Patricia Arquette. Witherspoon's big-screen debut in The Man in the Moon had premiered shortly before this movie's original broadcast in 1991, and a year earlier, Arquette had starred in a Keaton-directed CBS Schoolbreak Special, The Boy with the Crazy Brother. These rising talents are well served by Sara Flanigan's teleplay, closely adapted from her popular juvenile novel Alice. Set in the mid-1930s, the story follows two compassionate teens (Witherspoon, William McNamara) who discover and essentially adopt a partially deaf epileptic (Arquette) who'd been locked away by her psychotically abusive father. Beau Bridges... More Info about this DVD Director(s): Diane Keaton DVD Release Date: Released the 21 January 2003 Usually ships in 24 hours

A jewel of a sleeper, The Man in the Moon comes off as a nearly perfect short story of two sisters' first competition in the field of love. In a 1950's small Louisiana farm town, 14-year-old Dani falls for Court, a 17-year-old engaging neighbor boy. The two become great friends, but Court is more interested in Dani's 17-year-old sister, Maureen, who is blossoming. Dani will look for any justification why she should be with Court, but as human law dictates, there is no cure for a 14-year-old with a crush.
The film is another winning portrayal of small-town adolescence from Robert Mulligan (To Kill A Mockingbird). His eye for casting is impeccable, with Sam Waterston and Tess Harper as the earnest parents and newcomer Jason London as the dreamy Court. The real find,...
