I've Been Waiting For You Rated Pg - 13 For Terror Violernce And Frightening Moments 10 Of 10 I Didn't Know About This Movie Until My Mom Rented It For Me Last Night. Sarah Zultane Is The New Girl In Town And Living In The Lancaster House. Unbeknowest To Her A Witch Sarah Lancaster Was Burned At The Stake There 300 Years Ago After Escaping From A Mental Institution And Murdering Her Ex Boyfriend , His Fiance , And His Fiance's Parents. She Becomes An Outcast And Everyone ThinksShe's A Witch. This Is A Very Scary Movie And I Strongly Reccomend It.
WHICH WITCH IS IT?
The identity of the "masked madman" is pretty obvious once the character is introduced, and even though they try and throw some red herrings at you, "I've Been Waiting for You", a middling TV movie, offers nothing new. Sarah Chalke does a good job in the lead role of Sarah, the young girl who moves to Pinecrest, Massachusetts, where three hundred years earlier, a witch named Sarah Lancaster was toasted at the stake and gosh darn put a curse on the descendants of the people who burned her! We are of course treated to the snooty five descendants of such people who are convinced the new Sarah is the witch Sarah come back for revenge. Interestingly enough, the masked man only kills one person and that's only because she was stupid enough to die of fright. The others he just sort of scares. Ho hum. While a modicum of suspense is maintained, the overall effect is generic tv movie syndrome. Poor Markie Post looks like she filmed this movie on two hours sleep. The rest of the cast is appropriately dysfunctional and the ending is rather ludicrous. Rent, don't buy.
good...for it is anyway's.....
I first noticed this movie like a year or so ago. it was in the old release/horror section at the video store. At first, i wasn't quiet sure if i should rent (mainly for the fact that it seemed like it was a I Know what you did last Summer)....but i rented it anyway's. And boy was i surprized. It was actually a really decent movie. The cast was really good. They all seemed to fit there parts really well. And soile moon frye was very hot....oh yeah.....hehehehehe.
Well, anyway, you should rent this movie. You won't be dissapointed.
To be truely correct: Wes Craven's "Summer of Fear". Actually, "Wes Craven Presents Lois Duncan's Summer of Fear".

And there is a strange figure with her horses hair on it....What is going on with Julia?!
With lots of star power (Scott Bairstow, Amy Jo Johnson, Michelle Williams, and more), Killing Mr. Griffin occasionally hits home because it contains realistic elements of teenage life--at any rate, the life of an awkward, smart, unpopular teenage girl, Susan, who is dying to be popular. Amy Jo Johnson plays this part well. After her teacher, Mr. Griffin, humilates her in class, Susan agrees to be part of a prank that is operated by some of the popular kids, including the guy she has a crush on. The kids want to humilate Mr. Griffin, like he humiliates his students. But the prank goes horribly wrong, and the students spend the rest of the movie living with the consequences of having to keep a terrible secret. Susan is especially haunted by what has happened. Great movie, definitely has the Wes Craven vibe. Plenty of stuff to laugh at but still totally watchable. Star studded in a great 80's tv/ b-movie way. Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster),Barret Oliver (D.A.R.Y.L.), Jason Presson (Explorers). Susan Lucci rules as the satanic country club chick. If cheesy 80's flicks are up your alley I totally recommend it. More Info about this DVD Director(s): Wes Craven DVD Release Date: Released the 19 August 2003 Usually ships within 24 hours

"Shredder" is so completey out of touch with reality one just has to wonder: were the filmakers trying to make a horror parody or were they just failing miserably at making a serious slasher film? What can you say about a film with plot holes so big you could drive a snow plow through them? Or that has its characters walking around in the snow in just their underwear? To add to the ridiculousness, at one point the killer trips and falls over a corpse. And we're supposed to be afraid of this klutz?! I could go on, but you should really watch this one yourself to fully appreciate the absurdness of this whole mess. This movie was a riot to watch. The fact that this came from a major studio(MGM) just boggles the mind. "Shredder" completely fails as a horror film, but it succeeds...
