Review(s): DVD Foo Fighters - Low/Times Like These
    Entertaining, Funny, and Disturbing

It's not the greatest DVD but it's well worth the money and really funny. Low is the 3rd funniest Foo Fighters video (1st-"Learn To Fly" 2nd-"Big Me") and a little disturbing. "Times Like These" is one of the greatest hit songs of this year and the video is awesome with Foo Fighters fans dumping cars, a gameboy, a skateboard, a house, and whole bunch of other stuff, off a bridge aiming near the Foo Fighters. The other 2 "Times Like These" videos are also cool. One of my favorite things on the DVD is the Extras which has the "Coming Soon" icon. It shows you a preview of all their albums and some footage from all their videos.

    Who Knew?......

Who knew that "self-pleasure" and using the restroom could get you banned from MTV? Other than these two "moments", the video is rather tame. Funny as they come, but tame. I'm willing to watch anything with Dave Grohl and Jack Black, and this is no exception. Sexually experimental red-necks having a night of fun in a hotel room = surefire hilarious time.
In addition, three videos for Times Like These are included: The original US version, the UK version, and an acoustic in-studio version. The in-studio version is amazing, almost better than the regular version of the song, slow moving and heart--wrenching.
All in all this is worth the "low" price--get it? hahaha--okay its a lame pun, reference thingy. Hilarity and emotion on one disc. For any fan of the Foos or Tenacious D, or for anyone who is willing to witness the more "natural" body functions. Parents of Young Foo fans may be leery about it, though, I guess.

    Jack Black in drag...

how can you NOT watch the video for "Low"? Hijinks abound in a hotel room as truckers Dave Grohl and Jack Black get sloppy drunk and slip into wigs and ladies' lingerie. Good for a laugh but kinda disturbing after a while. Three versions of "Times like These"--one we've seen a million times, a UK version that is (...)[not so good] and a decent acoustic version. Still...Dave Grohl in suspenders and a blonde wig is well worth the price.

Foo Fighters - Everywhere But Home DVD

Foo Fighters albums a lot of times tend to have good songs mixed in with some blah songs. So a live DVD tends to solve all those problems right? Well not really. After so many shows, you'd think they'd work the crowd and the set a little better but I guess not.

The main feature I guess is the show they did in Toronto. I have a couple issues with it: 1) the setlist is too damn small. It's 15 songs. Even U2's Elevation shows have at least 20. Pearl Jam had like 30 or something. Where's I'll Stick Around or Big Me or Walking After You? 2) While he's an awesome drummer and good songwriter and even a capable vocalist, live he kind of needs work. For one thing, he does too many "ready, ready?! WAAAHHH!! By the 2nd song after you've heard it so many times you're like shut up dude,... More Info about this DVD

    Audioslave DVD

What a jip, this comes to show you that Chris Cornell has brainwashed the beloved Rage' guys into corporate whores. Not only are the music videos for this crappy, you only get five videos!! If Audioslave really cared about their fans, they'd put on more videos and performances on their DVD.

Instead, you should buy Rage Against the Machine's self-titled DVD. It has ten live performances, five music videos, and a poem Zach de la Rocha made. The Rage' DVD is worth your money, comrades, Audioslave isn't. More Info about this DVD
