This iz one of my favorite dvds! I watch the beefs
ev'ry day. Plus I could understand more of the drama
then what people are telling me. My favorite beef
iz "Common" VS "Westside Connection". If you like
Looking at drama on hip hop, Then this iz tha $HIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LIKE MINE WELL DONE
That's how I feel about this documentary.I enjoyed Beef alot. It gave a good introduction to the hip hop world and explained where it came from. Hip-hop originated on the streets and that's where it should stay but that's another story. On to the review. This is what a documentary should be like. The death of the party MC and the birth of the lyrical MC. It also shed alot a light on the Common and West Side Connection beef(I never knew what sparked that). It also showed what happens when 2 premier MC's battle without the influence of huge record company's(KRS/Shan). The Tru-Life incident was pretty grimey. I won't spoil what happened but I would have done the same thing they did. Anyway there is way too much info to put out. So I'm a leave ya'll with this; If you love hip-hop and you want to know what sparked what with your favorite rapper, cop this.
beef review
this dvd needed something to spice it up, we all knew we were watching a documentary on hip hop beef but c'mon there are ways to make a dvd more interesting
I Think this beef was less talk than the first one.
Plus what i liked bout dis one iz, it was more on
conflicts than just about talk. I liked the bonus beefs and
alot of the beefs in da movie.

I was expecting something different. For example when you watch a film on Carlo Gambino, or the movie "Paid in Full", or if you read the book "Monster" and "Sammy the Bull" you think to yourself, "WOW, that was amazing how these people operated above the law". This documentary didn't highlight anything intelligent or witty about this individual...And the portion about the NY BLOODS was kind of silly and embarrassing for blacks.
The only thing that I got from this movie was mixed thoughts about the rapper 50. How can he just take a nigga's name like that??? He really didn't seem to have a good explanation. Don't get me wrong he's a good rapper, but the film didn't help his image in my opinion. But who cares...... Spike Lee's longtime cinematographer, Ernest R. Dickerson, made his directorial debut with this violent story about four Harlem teens whose lives are changed when a store robbery goes wrong. The film has been likened to an urban The Wild Bunch, but it is far too artificial for that. With Dickerson's eye, Juice understandably looks great, but at the end of the day it is only a slightly better version of the heavily clichéd crime movies that have artificially dominated perceptions of black cinema in the U.S. in the '90s. Rap fans might enjoy seeing some familiar stars on board, including Queen Latifah and Tupac Shakur. --Tom KeoghMore Info about this DVD Actor(s): Omar Epps - Tupac Shakur - Jermaine 'Huggy' Hopkins Director(s): Ernest R.
