    Review(s): DVD A Strange Affair
    Wonderful "I Can Change" video!

This is the most delightful movie. Truthful, fast-moving, while also taking the time to establish that time is passing. Things are not occuring in the light speed they use for relationships in hollywood.

I highly recommend this, though for families, you need to know that there is some sexual content, and a wee bit of language.

    Irreversible DVD

Irreversible begins with the closing credits running backwards before the film begins (or ends) with Marcus (Vincent Cassell) and Pierre (Albert Dupontel) being escorted out of a gay S&M club by the cops, Marcus with his arm broken and Pierre in handcuffs. The "story" proceeds to unwind in a series of single-take scenes that unfold Memento-style, with each scene giving more context to what we have seen previously. Each scenario depicts actions, dialogue, incident, behavior, and circumstances that the lead characters might have wished didn't happen, ranging from extreme violence through awkward social situations to mild embarrassment. The central character (and possible dreamer of this whole what-if story) emerges as Alex (Monica Bellucci), who suffers the worst in a very... More Info about this DVD

The Monster Legacy Collection (Frankenstein / Dracula / The Wolf Man) DVD

I usually get a DVD give it a quick look then write a review. This time I viewed the whole package before submitting my review. When you get your set carefully remove the discs.Look at the holder behind it.If you see a little plastic protrusion gently scratch it away with your fingernail then wipe clean. I'm glad I caught this in time. I'm sure this would have scratched my set.And probably yours. My set plays perfectly. The bonus features are great.Werewolf of London, Dracula (spanish), Dracula's Daughter, She-Wolf of London, and Son of Dracula, I consider as bonus films, the rest are the meat and potatoes of the set.A few years ago I considered purchasing Dracula on VHS, but the only copy I could find was with the Phillip Glass score. After viewing the disc in all three presentations(No... In the Cut (Unrated and Uncut Director's Edition) DVD

Based on Susanna Moore's popular novel, In the Cut centers on Frannie (Meg Ryan), an emotionally stifled English teacher who gets steamy with sultry Malloy (Mark Ruffalo, You Can Count On Me), a cop who's investigating a series of brutal murders--but Frannie soon suspects that Malloy may be the killer. As a psychological thriller, In the Cut is heavier on psychology than thrills; the story is a skeleton that director Jane Campion (The Piano, An Angel at My Table) cloaks in one of the most nightmarish visions of urban life since Taxi Driver or Seven, accompanied by lots of explicit sex. The movie's dark tone will put some viewers off, but Ruffalo's effortless magnetism serves him well; no woman in the audience will question how quickly Ryan... More Info about this DVD
