Review(s): DVD Power Rangers Ninja Storm - Samurai's Journey
Cam=Best Green Ranger, ever.
In every Power Rangers/Sentai series, there's always a sixth ranger. And this is no different, they show up after the initial heroes start really getting their behind whooped. Well, Sensei's son, Cam Watanbe, travels to the past, sees the true origin of Lothor, and gets the Samauri Amulet. Cam, as smart as Billy (MMPR Blue Ranger #1) as good as Tommy (MMPR,Zeo:Green,White,Red), yet has the coolest costume of them all. The best part is the "Super Samauri Mode" where he ditches the golden vest/armor and his helmet flips around. When you see his armor fall to the ground and it actually cracks the concrete below, you know he's gonna whoop some things up. There is some very cool un-costumed (civilian clothing, what were you thinking, you silly goose?) martial arts action, for awhile you forget you're even watching a Power Rangers show during the time Cam is in the past. If you don't like this show, this video isn't going to help any. But if you do, you'll love the Samauri Ranger.
Good story
My son and I have enjoyed watching Power Rangers Ninja Storm, and this is our favorite story. Of course it's fun for kids, but adults might enjoy the action, along with the time travel aspects of the story. Very enjoyable.

Of the 5 (so far) available Ninja Storm DVDs, this isn't my favorite. But I'm such a Hunter/Blake fan, that I can't be unbiased. Good Will Hunter was the best from the episodes, with All About Beevil coming in close 2nd. I just wasn't a fan of Scent of a Ranger, but CyberCam was amusing. The DVD is a must for Ninja Storm fans, but Looming Thunder and Lightening Strikers were my favorites. This is the first season in a long while that has played on what made this series popular, a combination of wit, morality, and some good fight scenes. This show overall has proven to im sure many fans that it is worth watching again, especially after some lesser previous seasons (mainly Wild Force and its 2 possibly gay rangers). With the picturesque location of wonderful New Zealand and the larger budget, this show has been able to go where others have not, especially with their stunts, displaying the 5 (so far) rangers Ninja abilities to fly, walk on water, throw water, etc.) its makes this show and this dvd worth watching over and over. I personally like how this displays 2 ADOPTED (not step as earlier mentioned) brothers and how it shows that blood does not matter, defying the cliche. Of the five (so far) Ninja Storm DVDs, this is my favorite. Although it wasn't hard to put two-and-two together (I wonder who those pesky Thunder Rangers are...) but it was entertaining. This and Lightening Strikers are must haves for the Ninja Storm fan. I've been a huge fan of Dino thunder, especially of Jason Frank "aka tommy" ever since he appeared in the original MMPR! My son loves the series and aside from what a certain reviewer thinks it great fun and plenty of people watch them still! Thats why people know so much about it and thats why Jason Frank has such a huge fan (check out the official site, the shows bigger then anyone can imagine and rakes in cash) base from not just kids but they're parents as well. Keep them coming! I like this season. Its certainly better than the last few seasons, which were overly childish and hokey. This season is using more realistic ponits of view, with characters that aren't "model citizens" (ex: them getting caught breaking cerfew, consistent tardyness, etc.) Also, this season is great, not only for the beautiful Blue Ranger, & the possible net porn reference (eps after tsunami cycles are introduced), but also for the parallels it draws to the first 3 seasons. For instance, its using ninja powers like season 3, and thunder powers like season 2, as well as many other similar lines. However, the show is still close to its younger fan-base, and makes sure to keep the young and young at heart entertained. Ninja Storm has also maintained a level of graphics that previous seasons...
