The Scratch & Sniff options on the DVD relate to the "Odorama" stunt used during the film's original theatrical release. Special numbered cards, each representing a particular smell, were available with kids' meals at participating Burger King restaurants from 6/2/2003 to 6/29/2003, and separately at Blockbuster Video stores from 6/15/2003 until supplies ran out.
Participants picked up the cards, then took them to the local movie theater showing the film. When a particular number flashed on the screen, viewers scratched off the scent that had that particular number on it. Numbers flashing in red mean that the viewer should find the corresponding number on their card (glow-in-the-dark for their convenience), and be ready to scratch-and-sniff when the on-screen number turns green.
Sadly, Paramount Home Video decided not to include the cards with the DVD release. So unless you got a card when the film was originally theatrically released, you're out of luck.
Here are the numbers, DVD time codes of when the numbers first appear on screen, and description of the scent.
A small scan of the card can be found here: http://www.rugratonline.com/odorama.jpg
Rugrats go crappy
The worst Rugrats movie. The worst thornberrys movie. I like both series, but this sucks. It was pointless, stupid, dumb, boring, etc...... It just sucked. To much gay singing. To much gay everything. Makeing Spike talk sucks. They need to put a muzzel on the mut. I can't belive that Bruce Willis was a willing part of this movie. If you want better movies stick with the thornberries movie or the first Rugrats movie. DID I MENCHEN THAT THIS MOVIE SUCKS?
It's amazing!
There's a lot of action in this movie. I like when Spike talks...it was really funny! I like that Debbie and Angelica meet each other, because they're alike...they're both mean and bossy. It was nice to see Angelica get bossed around for a change. I didn't think this movie was too scary. My brother and I really enjoyed this movie.
This charming movie version of the Nickelodeon cartoon centers on Eliza, youngest daughter of the Thornberry family, whose parents Nigel and Marianne travel the world to create a nature program for television. But Eliza, thanks to a mystical encounter, has the power to talk to animals--a power that leads her on the hunt for poachers in Africa who have captured a baby cheetah. Eliza's best friend, a chimpanzee named Darwin, is along for the ride, while her resentful teenage sister Debbie is trying to bring her back to their parents. The characters in The Wild Thornberrys Movie are well-defined and delightful, the well-written script zips along, and the animation is visually dynamic; all in all, an excellent animated feature. Featuring the voices of Tim Curry, Lacey... The second theatrical film from the popular television show is better than the original surprise hit. Instead of delving into their rich fantasy life, the Rugrats gang goes on a real adventure when their families visit Paris together. Mr. Pickles is brought over to fix his giant Reptar robot, the centerpiece of EuroReptarland (a biting version of the trouble-plagued EuroDisney). The underlying story has Chuckie (the one with the square glasses) looking for a new mommy, as his dad (who has a square personality) starts to fall for a villainous executive (voiced by Susan Sarandon). Soon Paris takes it on the chin as the diaper gang tries to save Chuckie's dad from the altar. The success of the Rugrats is in the writing, where much thought goes into finding comic gems for the adults (there... The first theatrical film from the popular Nickelodeon TV series became the surprise hit of the 1998 holiday box-office crunch, trouncing the highly competitive kids market. The key ingredient to the Rugrats' success is the writing. Venturing into their first theatrical movie, the pals--including the intrepid diaper-wearing Tommy Pickles, the nervous Chuckie, the twins Lil and Phil, and the wonderfully prissy Angelica--garble English into funny prose ("I want those fugitives back in custard-y!") and use movie references in their fantasy life. The opening here is a dead-on spoof of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The big news for the movie is that Tommy gets a new baby brother, named Dylan (or Dil for short). The rest of the film has no real plot but is a series of adventures... I agree with the person who said that the ones with dill are crappy. Tommy becomes less adventurous and the episodes more boring. I also dont appreciate the fact that they changed the animation in the later episodes. The earlier episodes ' animation were kind of low in quality but it fit wit the theme. It was cuter with the crappy animatin and the small voices. Rugrats were so adorable. Epspecially tommy.!
