Review(s): DVD Leprechaun - Back 2 Tha Hood
Big improvement over Leprechaun in the Hood

I am one of the people who love the Leprechaun movies(some people hate them). But they do have a fan bases and I actually think Leprechaun Back 2 tha Hood is the best in the series. But I haven't seen Leprechaun 1 and 4. So it is the best of the series so far. It probably still will be the best after I watch 1 and 4. The reason I didn't see those ones is because my movie store only has Leprechaun 2,3,5,6. Leprechaun 6 is also really funny. Which anyone who has ever watched a Leprechaun movie knows they are comical I couldn't stop laughing half the time. I think Leprechaun fans will love this movie and people who didn't like Leprechaun in the Hood should give this a chance and watch, because they are very different movies. I wasn't very pleased with Leprechaun in the Hood myself and I found myself really enjoying this one. One of the things I enjoyed about the movie is the action, it had pretty good action. It also had a great preformance(as usual)by Warwick Davis(the Leprechaun). By the way the Leprechaun looks the best in this one too. Make-up wise and costume wise. One thing I am wondering why didn't the Leprechaun use any of his magic, he could have at least used it once, even though him fighting it out all the time was great. I at least wanted him to use it once. I think in Leprechaun 7 he should fight it out mostly all the time but use his magic maybe a couple times to do something, just open a door with your magic once, at least you used it. With a cheap DVD price it is worth buying because it is a good movie and has a good replay value.

    Cant help but love it

Ill be honest, this wasnt the best flick in the series, but I love it just the same, being 100% irish as I am, I love the mix of evil and irish, so much in fact half of my tattoo sleeve in the leprechaun himself.

Mediocre chapter could have been better

Mediocre describes this laughable direct-to-video with the Leprechaun going back to the hood and starting a killing spree looking for his gold. Basically a remake to Leprechaun in the Hood with terrible special effects and bad acting but this movie is so inept and hilarious its almost as absurd as Leprechaun 4 and this funniest parts are when the Leprechaun jams a bong in a man's stomach and when he rips a cop's leg off while wanting to fight. Watch only once or twice but stick with parts 1,2,3.

Leprechaun Pot of Gore Collection (5 DVD Set) DVD

If you like B rated horror movies than this is the collection for you. The quality was great and the scary humor is even better. I would suggest this movie to anyone who likes to see a little man go after gold and will stop at nothing to get it. but one thing i like best about these movies is the fact that with each movie they dont tie in with each other, in other words when the movies end the next one doesnt explain why or how he is still alive. To me it's like different short stories of a leprechaun and his gold. I would recomend this to anyone who dreamed of finding a pot-of-gold and not thinking there are concenquences, this might change your mind. Over all these movies are great entertainment and will be for your kids when they grow up and realise that Lucky isn't what he's cracked... More Info about this DVD

    Leprechaun in the Hood DVD

This is one of those movies, you will love it, or you will hate it. It's not in the least bit scary, but then again none of the Lep movies really are. You don't watch them to be scared, you watch them because deep down, you know you love to see people running and screaming from him. It's just fun to watch. Over the life span of the Leprachaun movies. We've seen him in the back woods, outerspace, now the hood! It might not be a logical step, but it makes for an oddly entertaining movie. I think the movie can be summed up by the beginning. Where the Lep is freed from frozen state and quotes "free at last, free at last, thank God almighty I'm free at last" with a laugh. There is a lot wrong with him quoting Martin Luther King, but it's funny! And there's quite a bit of humor people will find... More Info about this DVD

    Leprechaun DVD

This is the 1993 horror movie whose little Irish monster was frequently quoted by late-night talk show host Conan O'Brien: "I want me gold!" Sure you do, pal. Diminutive actor Warwick Davis (who played an Ewok in Return of the Jedi) plays a creepy, killer leprechaun wandering an American suburb in search of the gold stolen from him. Woe be to anyone who inadvertently gets in his way, including Tori (Jennifer Aniston) and her pals, who somehow have to get their hands on a four-leaf clover (what's wrong with a yellow moon or pink hearts?) to stop the dinky demon. Not exactly a promotional campaign from the Irish Tourist Board, Leprechaun is nevertheless good, silly fun. --Tom Keogh More Info about this DVD

Leprechaun 4 - In Space DVD

In all honesty, I love the leprechaun movies. The first was so funny and Jennifer Aniston was a riot. But this movie was terrible. It probobly had the lowest budget of the 5. The sets were stupid and unrealistic and the acting was terrible. Especially be Rebecca Carlton, the princess. This movie was also really not well written and had no clever death scenes at all. The movie was simply pointless and oh yeh, the special effects... were even worse. Avoid this movie at all costs... More Info about this DVD

    Leprechaun 3 DVD

In this 3rd Leprechaun movie, a Store Owner buys a statue of a Leprechaun, but when he takes the necklace around it's neck off, it turns into a real Leprechaun. The Irish Devil(Warwick Davis)then kills the Store Owner, but finds himself in Las Vegas. There, he begins to have fun, only for a young teen and a beauty girl attempt to put an end to him with the Necklace.

Once more, they try to come up with a new way to kill him. This time around, it seems anything can kill him. The movie is stupid. The idea of taking the Leprechaun to Vegas was smart, but not carried out very good. It was the first Leprechaun movie I saw, but I regret seeing it. It's stupid. The acting is terrible, excluding Warwick Davis, the dialouge's worse and it just ain't worth the money. It's got a bit more plot than... More Info about this DVD
