Steve Guttenberg's Final Police Academy Movie!
I fondly recall watching Police Academy 4 with my nephews who were big fans of this series and also had the action figure toys. Police Acadamy 4 is pretty funny and I liked it just as much as the first 3 movies in the series. BTW: This is Steve Guttenberg's last Police Academy movie and he did not star in Police Academy 5 which just wasn't the same without him so sit back and enjoy watching Steve Guttenberg's final performance as Mahoney!

This time around Lassard has come up with a programm C.O.P. or Citizens on Patrol, where local people can receive training to protect themselves.Not very original,they are recycling ideas that have already been used in the series.However there are some good moments,Capt Harris and Proctor are always good. Notable for an early film appearance of David Spade.Tony Hawk is also featured in a brief role.IF you've saw the others you might as well watch this one too.
A GREAT FAMILY COMEDY
Police Academy 4 citizens on patrol is a great movie. Kids would love this one all the police academy movies are so funny but this one is one of the best.The charecers are so funny. This movie is steve guttenbergs last. It is a real disapointment that he is not in the other movies. If you like great family comedy's this is the movie for you.

This is the second best in the series of seven movies. It has drop down humor, and great jokes. One of my favorites, Douglas Fackler returns. Another great family film and is great for a party. The crew is all here, Larvell Jones, Moses Hightower, Hooks, Doug Fackler, Eugine Tackleberry, Debbie Calahan Nick Lassard, Thaddeus Harris, Procter, and Eric Lassard. And finally, after a long wait, the Police Academy series is coming to dvd. You can buy them seprate, or in a box set that I recommend you buying. The series will be realesed on April 6. This an ok dvd when it comes to features, it has a trailer and a making of reel. In all honesty I had no idea that another Police Academy movie had been made. I stopped watching the series once they lost the star power of Steve Gutenberg, but I'm pretty sure that this movie wasn't even released in theaters. Probably, rightly so. I gave the movie three stars to drag up the movie's average basing the three star rating on the movie poster up above, which I found hilarious but unsubstanative.
