DVD The Swan Princess III - The Mystery of the Enchanted Treasure (Special Edition)
An evil sorceress plans to wreak havoc on Swan Lake by stealing the forbidden arts--a treasure that gives its keeper unlimited power. Odette is kidnapped as part of her master plan, prompting a showdown with Derek. Ambitious in narrative only, this potboiler doesn't look like much in contrast to the first film in the series. It's also a shame the producers couldn't bring back some of the original vocal cast: John Cleese and Steven Wright. --Tom Keogh
Review(s): DVD The Swan Princess III - The Mystery of the Enchanted Treasure (Special Edition)
The Swan Princess The Enchanted Treasure
I think The Enchanted Treasure is the best of three Swan Princess titles. The new bird character was a welcome addition, and the sorcoress was a lot better than the mountain wizard of the 2nd film. I like the link to the main villian of the first film. One good thing about sequals is that characters are already known so the story moves at a pace that I prefer. While the first movie is good, I like this one a little better.
Very Cute
This movie wasn't the best of the three, but it was very cute. The characters are pretty good in addition to the new bird character. It is good for young kids, not really older audiences, but if you liked the first one, this one should pass fairly well. I liked it.
Best out of 3
This is the best movie out of all 3. When it was on t.v and I found out it was one three times I watch it all three times not missing a single part. And I love the songs they're the best. But I would have to say the one Derek sings Because I Love Her, is the best out of them all. My favorite part was when Derek and Rogers were agruing.

Ranking just behind the best of animator Don Bluth's films (Anastasia and The Secret of NIMH), Thumbelina is a bubble-light version of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale. The finger-sized heroine goes about the old-fashioned trials of trying to find a good man, but the film is clever enough to make it endearing for the 3-6 set and more than passable for adult viewers. Barry Manilow provides much of the song score, which helps immensely. The ballad "Let Me Be Your Wings" is as good as Disney's best. Carol Channing and Charo have a good ol' time with their songs too. The voice of Thumbelina is none other than Jodi Benson, who gave voice to Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid. --Doug ThomasMore Info about this DVD Actor(s): Jodi Benson - Gary Imhoff Director(s): Gary Goldman - Don Bluth DVD Release Date: Released the 19 February 2002 Usually ships in 24 hours

A story line that truly deserves the A-list treatment, The Last Unicorn is memorable for its attempts to stay faithful to its origins, the Peter Beagle novel of the same name. The animation is vintage Rankin/Bass, and that's too bad; but there's an undeniable strength in this tale and telling. A unicorn (Mia Farrow)--she believes herself the last--searches for any others of her kind, while avoiding the malevolent Red Bull, the agent believed to have destroyed the rest of the herd. Along the way, she is mistaken, ignored, attacked, and obsessed about, finally finding help from a magician named Schmendrick (Alan Arkin) and a knight named Prince Lir (Jeff Bridges). A haunting film that pays homage to mythology and the people who love it. --Keith SimantonMore Info about this DVD Director(s): Arthur Rankin Jr. - Jules Bass DVD Release Date: Released the 16 March 2004 Usually ships in 24 hours

A minor classic from Disney, this 1973 all-animal, all-animated musical version of the familiar story is more charming than one might expect. Perhaps it's the warm, chummy take on key relationships within the legend--the way Robin Hood (Brian Bedford) gets twitterpated whenever the subject of Maid Marian (Monica Evans) comes up or the way best pal Little John (Phil Harris voicing a variation on his own Baloo from The Jungle Book) admonishes the Sherwood Forest hero, "Aw, Rob, why dontcha just marry the girl?" (Then, of course, there's the canny "casting" of the romantic leads as foxes: Robin the sly one and Marian the, well, foxy one.) The rest of the vocal cast is lively and eclectic: Peter Ustinov, Andy Devine, Terry-Thomas, George Lindsey. Roger Miller provides the...
