DVD Starsky & Hutch (Widescreen Edition)
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson--dark, wiry, and tense meets blond, lanky, and loose--make a solid comic team (and previously appeared together in Zoolander), but the funniest man in Starsky and Hutch is Vince Vaughn. Vaughn dives into his role as a sleazy drug dealer (who nonetheless buys a pony for his daughter's bat mitzvah) with the offhand zest that he brings to almost every role (from Swingers to Old School) and effortlessly steals every scene he's in. Vaughn has concocted a new and undetectable kind of cocaine, and only two cops who aren't afraid to break the rules--our titular pair--can catch him. But the plot isn't the point; mocking-yet-loving jabs at the '70s, including the homoerotic overtones of Starsky and Hutch's partnership, are what this movie is about. The satire is surprisingly mild but entertaining nonetheless, particularly when Vaughn or Snoop Dogg (as informant Huggy Bear) hold the screen. --Bret Fetzer

Not Too Bad!
I have to admit, I was not expecting much from this movie. My expectations were pretty low, but what I got was a much better film then I expected. While it dosn't capture the feel of the original series, the movie is still entertaining.
Alot of the movie is standard and mediocre cop comedy and satire, but there are choice moments that stand out, mostly due to Ben Stiller hijinks and Owen Wilson reaction. Huggy Bear's character, played by Snoop Dogg, serves as the typical minority character relief, but even so, Snoop Dogg comes off as very humourous.
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson may not be a convincible Starsky and Hutch, but they indeed do serve as an entertaining time to spend an extra 2 hours.
Enough is enough
Again, another interesting pop-corn director that makes a couple of good low budget films and when Hollywood gives to him a free hand (or not so much) things go wrong. Is not funny, Wilson and Stiller aren't interesting enough and the 70's isn't a good decade to crave for. With this kind of films, is useful to listen to American critics, they know more about their own culture than us.
The Trailer for the movie was the BEST PARTS
I couldn't wait to see this film after seeing the Trailer,but to be honest,this movie was a real let down,and I love Stiller and Wilson working together in so many funny films ,but "Starky and Hutch isn't one of them.

Opposites are forced to attract in Along Came Polly, a dose of featherweight fluff that could've been better and could've been worse--surely no pairing of Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston can be a complete waste of time, right?
