Dark Shadows DVD Collection 10 is the latest installment of the DVD collector's edition of the Gothic-style supernatural daytime series Dark Shadows, which originally ran on ABC-TV from 1966-71. Centering around the character of Barnabas Collins (a 175-year-old vampire plagued with angst), this ongoing drama's blend of occult horror and tangled human (and vampire) relationships distinguished it as a true cult classic. Bonus material includes exclusive interviews with series actors Alexandra Moltke, John Karlen, Kathryn Leigh Scott, and more. 4 discs, 4 complete episodes, approximately 14 hours, not rated. The Dream Curse ended in Set 8, but the story of Adam continues as he causes problems for all the residents of Collinwood. Nicholas Blair is not a favorite of mine, I find him quite boring. I enjoyed Adam kidnapping Victoria and Angelique as a vampire. A true fan should get this Set. Only two more Sets until Victoria Winters leaves. While I would recommend a newcommer to start with Volume Four, where the complex story line really begins to gain momentum, I would rate this volume as the very best Dark Shadows of all time. More Info about this DVD DVD Release Date: Released the 28 October 2003 Usually ships within 24 hours

I love Dark Shadows, and Collection 7 contains some of my favorite episodes from the 5 year series. Ever since it was announced that the series was coming out on DVD, I had been looking forward to this set very much.
Victoria Winters returns from her inexplicable journey into the year 1795, and from the minute she re-appears, very strange events begin to occur at Collinwood. Victoria unexplainably purchases a portrait of the evil Angelique. A man with a striking resemblence to Peter Bradford enters her life suddenly. Roger begins to think he's Joshua Collins, then disappears in the middle of the night, only to return later, horrifying his family with announcement of a new wife, Cassandra (Angelique with a black wig).
Other memorable highlights from Collection 7 include:
