| Just buy "Fit to strip" (disc 2) |
I'm wishing I knew someone that I could've borrowed this from before making the investment. I'm someone who works-out almost everyday, likes to dance, & likes variety; so, I thought I'd give ol'-Carmen a try. Disc 1 was pretty basic moves and over pretty quick (not very cardio friendly). If one was a beginner (in working out as well as not too smooth with dance moves) this would be good. It's slow paced and she REALLY breaks it all down. Disc 2 is probably the only redeeming disc in this set. She's not actually working you but her trainer is..... He's got a nice paced - smooth flowing workout. I like the fact that you can do whole body and then they also break into sections after that: lower, abs, and upper. Disc 3 & 4 are another whopping 60 second dance routines. I did like the "Hip Hop" because it was actual cardio,...get the moves down, and then just hit "repeat" and do the routine a couple of times to get the heart pumping. Overall: If you want to "work-out" just get Disc 2 - "Fit to Strip". If you want to learn how to dance, and don't mind Carmen pausing a lot to think about what she's going to do next, by all means, get the whole set.

I love the first dvd in this set and the 2nd one. I find that there are too many pauses in between each portion though. I like that I can select which section to do and be able to change the music. But I am going to start doing it twice because my body has gotten used to it! I do not like that the routines are so short! But overall the 1st and 2nd dvd are the best, I don't even bother with the others, they are too short and it doesn't seem like a good workout to me! I'm just trying to get rid of an extra 10 pounds, so I rotate between this set and Denise Austin with cardio! Overall the dvd's are good, I like that she is different and makes exercising fun! :) Hope that helps.

The first CD was too easy. The other CDs were too difficult and too hard on my joints. I'm only 25 and found some movements too difficult for my joints. I stopped using the CDs. I am in good shape and wanted to use these workouts as something different to work out with. Carmen Electra acted a little too gitty when explaining movements. It is apparent that she is unaware of anatomy and physiology. She seemed to be unaware of what she was actually doing and did not do a good job explaining movements. I wish I had never wasted my money on the CDs.
