The Story of Disneyland
On a recent trip to Disneyland, I purchased a DVD with the 50th anniversay artwork on the front, thinking it was history of the park. Boy was I wrong. Do not buy the park DVD, instead wait for this one. The one currently selling at the park is nothing more than the travel video Diseny sends out as a promotional for the park. The DVD advertised as COMING SOON here is more along the lines of what I thought I was getting. Let's hope this DVD actually makes a debut sometime soon. How much longer can they hold out?
Release end of 2005
I believe this DVD will be released sometime in December of 2005. Do not want to get anyones hopes up, but I have a good source who feels this will be the time. I have seen brief cuts and this is probably the best Disneyland DVD yet!!! Look for the release in December 2005, January 2006 at the latest.

Come On Come On Whats the Hold Up!
I have seen the contents of this DVD and it looks wonderful! However, I am giving it 1 star as the folks at the mouse house have not released it yet. So Disney please wake up and smell the coffee and make us disney fans happy! Untill then the Disneyland fun DVD will be great-for the time beaing!

Films featuring animated characters in live-action settings were common during the silent era; Disney reversed the situation, placing a live actress (Virginia Davis) in a cartoon world. The Disney treasures collection is the best and cheapest way of getting the entire series to their golden age shorts.
I must warn you not to buy any of these mini DVDS if you are someone who would love the full collection being the mini DVDS are just repeats or shorts due on future disney treasures.
