Wonderful
My mother has used this workout regularly for the past 5-6 years (she's now 78 years old). She likes it because it gives her an overall good workout without discouraging her by being overly strenuous. I often listen from the next room while I'm working, so I can say (and she heartily agrees) that Leslie's words are encouraging, not annoying to hear with repeated use of the workout, as is the background music. I even know an 82-year-old neighbor who'd stopped going to a class for seniors and now works with Leslie.

I was thinking of purchasing this DVD until I read the reviews; thanks for the "heads-up". I own many LS dvds and my personal favorites are the "Walk Away the Pounds" series; the "Walk Away the Pounds Express" series; and the "Walk Away the Pounds for ABs" series. Each of these three series is professionally done; however, you do still have the subtle mistakes that are typical of Leslie. Each of the previously mentioned series have a 1-mile, a 2-mile, and a 3-mile session; the "Express" also has a 4-mile session (don't be afraid to try this one...it is not harder, just longer). I did this DVD for the first time this morning, and it was lots of fun. I wasn't in the mood to pay attention to choreography but I wanted to get some exercise and give something new a try. "Walk and Kick" fit the bill. It's not overly strenuous, the moves are simple, the instructor is very personable and the time just flies by. I like the music, too! I have the four-mile "Super Challenge" DVD, as well, and that's another goodie for this kind of exercise mood - if you have a little more time. I'll be using the both of them repeatedly. I am just beginning to to exercise after many years of being sedentary. These programs are challenging, yet fun, and they can be expanded as I get better, so I will save money in the long run. Leslie Sansone is an upbeat, and positive intructor. These programs are definate keepers!
