Hmmmm... It just gets too much

I like the first season better. Something is not working right.
The story is getting more and more unrealistic and all the felmale casts are getting more and more whore looking. How can you run the casino with that less people.

    DEFECTIVE DISK!

I just want to warn everyone. While the show itself is amazing...I LOVE IT, there are problems with the disks! I bought this set, as I do all my sets, on Amazon.com. I was just watching this DVD set and cannot get Episode 11 to work. So, I went online to see if there was anyone else that had a problem. To my shock, I found that I am not only not the only one who had a problem but that Universal is KNOWN to have problems like this. I bought Sliders (Seasons 1 & 2) from Amazon.com and I didn't get a chance to watch it for maybe a year. I couldn't get the first disk to work so I have never been able to watch it...that is ALSO a Universal product. I didn't do anything about it because I had had it so long and there were a couple of scratches on the disk (it came like that...I hadn't even unwrapped the set in that whole time) so I figured they weren't going to do anything for me anyway. Now I am just plain MAD. Anyway, I just wanted to forewarn you...if you buy it, watch it immediately to make sure the disks work!

This is the most misleading of DVD TV shows.

Do not be fooled by NBC/Universal claim that these shows are "uncut and Uncensored", these are the same edited shows that were shown on NBC, the misleading title goes more toward the featurettes on Las Vegas itself where some of the show is filmed.NBC/Universal is rapidly joining Warner Brothers as companies that put out among the cheapest or less impressive TV and Movie releases on the DVD market. Both in bare bones releases and in those DVDs that do have bonus features on them, which are not edited well or contain any useful information on the making of the show or movie itself. This boxed set also is defective, it does not prevent the disks from getting damaged during shipment and the disks constantly jam or get stuck while viewing. This has happened now with many Universal DVD releases and I am not buying anymore until Universal fixes this problem which they seem in no hurry to do.

Las Vegas - Season One Uncut & Uncensored DVD

Slick, stylish, and fast-paced, Las Vegas is a high-tech hybrid of 1970s' Vega$ and 1980s' Hotel. Created by Gary Scott Thompson (The Fast and the Furious), season 1 includes all 23 episodes of the NBC dramedy's. Set in the fictional Montecito Resort and Casino, the show revolves around surveillance expert and ex-Marine Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamel, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton). McCoy reports to the president of operations and ex-CIA operative "Big" Ed Deline (the inimitable James Caan). If Duhamel is the show's charisma, Caan is the gravitas. The attractive cast is rounded out by Vanessa Marcil as casino host Sam Marquez, Nikki Cox as event coordinator Mary Connell, James Lesure as valet Mike Cannon, Marsha Thomason as pit boss Nessa Holt, Cheryl... Desperate Housewives - The Complete First Season DVD

Audiences were captivated by the women of Wisteria Lane in the first season of Desperate Housewives, the breakout hit from ABC that almost single-handedly lifted the network from its ratings doldrums and brought back the classic TV soap, remixed now with satire, comedy, and mystery. An affectionate yet darkly tinged send-up of suburbia that skirted Twin Peaks territory as much as that of Knots Landing, Desperate Housewives opened with a bang--literally--as perfect-seeming housewife Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong) went through her picture-perfect day before putting a handgun to her temple and pulling the trigger. Mary Alice's sudden suicide leaves her four closest friends, all housewives of a sort, with a surfeit of grief, a re-examination of their own lives,... More Info about this DVD

Lost - The Complete First Season DVD

Along with Desperate Housewives, Lost was one of the two breakout shows in the fall of 2004. Mixing suspense and action with a sci-fi twist, it began with a thrilling pilot episode in which a jetliner traveling from Australia to Los Angeles crashes, leaving 48 survivors on an unidentified island with no sign of civilization or hope of imminent rescue. That may sound like Gilligan's Island meets Survivor, but Lost kept viewers tuning in every Wednesday night--and spending the rest of the week speculating on Web sites--with some irresistible hooks (not to mention the beautiful women). First, there's a huge ensemble cast of no fewer than 14 regular characters, and each episode fills in some of the back story on one of them. There's a doctor; an Iraqi... More Info about this DVD

Alias - The Complete Fourth Season DVD

True to form, at the beginning of its fourth season J.J. Abrams' Alias proceeded to reinvent itself yet again--and the results looked quite a bit like the first season, but with a decided twist. Super agent Sydney Bristow (Emmy nominee Jennifer Garner) found herself once more working for a covert secret-ops group that was "off the books" and headed up by Arvin Sloane (Ron Rifkin) as she was partnered with... Hey, wait, wasn't Sloane a bad guy before? Well, yes, he was, but having been "rehabilitated" from his evil ways, he's now Sydney's new boss--nevermind the fact that he's trampled all over her life in more ways than one--and head of the CIA's new super-secret division, APO (for Authorized Personnel Only), which also includes all of Sydney's old friends, as well as her... Smallville - The Complete Fourth Season DVD

The arrival of another gorgeous young woman with the initials of LL further complicates Clark Kent's (Tom Welling) life in the fourth season of Smallville, the WB's hip and sexy reinvention of the Superman legend. In this case, it's Lois Lane (Erica Durance), a would-be college freshman who's come to the Kansas heartland to investigate the disappearance of her cousin, Chloe. What she discovers instead is a naked, amnesiac Clark Kent in a cornfield, and things take off from there. Durance doesn't appear in every episode--she was credited as a "special guest star"--but her tough spirit and crackling wit provide a great, non-romantic foil to Clark.

That's just as well, because there's plenty of romantic triangulation--or worse--going on. Clark's former love interest--and... More Info about this DVD
