Chico & the Man 4ever "Looking Good!"
I recently purchased the DVD of Chico & the man. I was as ecstatic and I think is just awsome for me to own this show on DVD I have been waiting a long time for this show to come on the market, although I wish they would sell all the episodes not just a few. This DVD really took me back on a nostalgic trip Freddie Prinze was great & wish he would still be around. He was on his way to the top rising up as one ( the only one) succesful Hispanic comedian of that decade. I want to watch those episode of him saying "Looking Good!" but none of these episode have him saying that frase. All in all this is a great buy you'll enjoy this DVD the color & the sound is great also all the other stars that come on the show are great like Jack Albertson and Della Reese, but specially if you're a Freddie Prinze fan you will enjoy owning this DVD.
I was Chico for Halloween and I was Looooooooooooooooking Good!
This show is the quintessential Latino show, I am happy to say that the show is on the American Life Network (a channel whose programming is dedicated to babyboomers) Other shows on this network include-I Spy, The Honeymooners in Color, The Courtship of Eddies Father, Ftroop, The Man from Uncle, The Girl from Uncle..the list of nostalgia is endless.Loooooooooooking Good Chico!

I loved the show when it originally aired and I love it now! To see Freddie Prinze being funny, sincere and passionate again reminds me just why I had such a HUGE CRUSH on him. I'd have one on Freddie Jr. also but he's to young, Ha! Seeing Jack Albertson, Scatman Cruthers and Della Reese is just wonderful.

This military frontier comedy classic never had a chance to wear out its welcome during its pair of seasons, one in glorious black and white, the other in color. LARRY STORCH, lovable ham that he was, stole every scene he was ever in (except maybe the ones with the HECKOWIS). KEN BERRY was the best "perfect fool" since ED WYNN, MELODY PATTERSON was a rawhide-wrapped sexpot, and FORREST TUCKER held it all together with his rugged charm. Even the second bananas, from inept bugler DOBBS to myopic VANDERBILT to "glory days" ratchet-jaw DUFFY added a lot to the merry mix. That's not even counting the roster of wonderful guest stars, such as PAT HARRINGTON (as B. WISE, a takeoff on GET SMART), CLIFF ARQUETTE, HARVEY KORMAN, JULIE NEWMAR, PHIL HARRIS, MILTON BERLE, VINCENT PRICE, HENRY GIBSON... My stars! The first, and perhaps most magical, season of Bewitched still casts an enchanting spell. For escapist fantasy, this series, no doubt inspired by the play Bell, Book and Candle, broke significant television ground. The Stephens were sitcoms' first mixed marriage. Advertising executive Darrin Stephens (Dick York) was mortal, and wife Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) was a witch. According to a retrospective segment included on this four-disc set, the Stephenses were also the first couple to sleep in one bed! And Samantha's mother, Endora (the venerable Agnes Morehead), and father, Maurice (Maurice Evans, most popularly known as Dr. Zaius in the original Planet of the Apes, were TV's first separated couple. Surely, Darrin did for advertising what Dick Van... More Info about this DVD Actor(s): Elizabeth Montgomery DVD Release Date: Released the 21 June 2005 Usually ships in 24 hours

Like a groovy Family von Trapp, The Partridge Family arrived in 1970 with matching velvet outfits and wholesomeness bursting from every pore. Watching it now, you expect little more than kitsch--but the show, though certainly a sitcom representation of the world, is curiously fresh and appealing. This sheer likeability comes partly from the cast--Shirley Jones (The Music Man) looks foxy in miniskirts while still being the cool mom everyone wishes they had; teen idol David Cassidy is unexpectedly engaging as an actor (his charisma is all the more apparent when another teen idol, Bobby Sherman, makes a wooden appearance); and Danny Bonaduce's child-star rise sprang not from cuteness but his genuine comic timing. It doesn't hurt that many of the troubles the characters... More Info about this DVD Actor(s): Shirley Jones DVD Release Date: Released the 03 May 2005 Usually ships in 24 hours

In addition to inspiring a college drinking game that's never gone out of style, The Bob Newhart Show gave one of America's greatest stand-up comedians a perfect sitcom showcase. This wasn't Newhart's first TV show (following the success of his comedy albums, he hosted a short-lived variety show in 1961-62), but it was the first to transfer his wry, inimitable wit to an effective alter ego, and as mild-mannered psychologist Bob Hartley, 43-year-old Newhart found a sublime character conduit for stone-faced sarcasm that was biting but never malicious.

I watched this show when it was on in the 70s and I've been a big fan. It just goes to show you that "there is nothing new under the sun...". The concerns and problems the Evans family dealt with then are mostly the same ones we have today. The surviving cast should do a reunion movie.
