Review(s): DVD Nonlocality And The Observer, A New Model For Your World - DVD Edition
A More Expanded Appreciation of the Quantum World of Possibilities.
If my school science teacher had been as light hearted and fun as Mike is in this presentation, I know that I would have learned and appreciated a lot more science!
This is a DVD of a live lecture by Physics teacher Mike Wright, one of the appointed teachers for Ramtha's School of Enlightenment, lecturing to a varied audience of Ramtha's students... some may be scientists some may not.
Mike brings the understanding of Quantum Physics into everyday life with his use of practical, everyday reality experiments that are interactive and fun. He explores Einstein's statement "Space and time are not conditions in which we live, they are modes in which we think", using humorous and practical examples that we can all relate to.
Mike also explores the popular concept that "The Observer is affecting what is being observed" (one of the main concepts presented in the movie What The Bleep Do We Know!?) and again uses simple everyday experiences that we can apply to our own life, to illustrate this statement.
I found this DVD to be very helpful for my own understanding and appreciation of the Quantum world of possibilities; very easy to follow; also humorous and entertaining. One gets an impression of the awesome possibilities we have lying latent within us, and that with knowledge such as this, along with training, we can access them.
This is a DVD that is excellent for those of us who are desiring to further explore this popular world of Quantum Physics. For me, the simpler the explanations of this whacky science, the more fun it becomes and the easier it is to accept that we are responsible for creating our reality with our thoughts!
Along with this DVD, I would also recommend the books 'Alice in Quantumland', and Ramtha's 'A Beginners Guide To Creating Reality', which both give deeper understandings of the Quantum world and how we each affect it.

"The frontal lobe gives us permission to make thought more real than anything else. It gives us permission to hold onto an idea or dream, regardless of what's going on in the external reality. My thinking is more important than my environment." - From the DVD
Featured in the popular movie What the Bleep Do We Know!?, Dr. Joe Dispenza is a chiropractor who earned his biochemistry undergrad degree from Rutgers University. In What the Bleep, he discussed the process of "creating your day"-arguably the most fascinating portion of the entire movie.
Because of his fascination with the idea of spontaneous remissions of disease-what some would term "miracles"-Dr. Dispenza began to investigate what these individuals have in common. Create Your Day is a no-frills lecture from JZ Knight's self-help foundation, Ramtha's School of Enlightenment. The disc consists of a 45-minute monologue, seen almost entirely from one angle in close-up, of Knight speaking in the voice of Ramtha, the 35,000-year-old "wisdom warrior" she claims to channel. It's hard to tell where Knight is, but the lecture appears to have been taped before an audience, given the sounds of occasional laughter and more frequent coughing. The message mixes some allusions to quantum physics with an attractive philosophy of self-reliance (i.e., "creating your day" rather than letting it happen to you), much of which sounds suspiciously like common sense. The disc is nominally directed by Mark Vicente, a Ramtha student who directed What the Bleep Do... This is the ABSOLUTE WORST DVD that it has ever been my misfortune to have come across.
It contains the ramblings of a physco wack-job trying to convince her devotees (as well as herself) that what she is saying has any place in reality.
Do yourself a BIG favor, DO NOT buy this waste of time!!!!
I only wish that I could get back the two hours or so that I wasted waiting for this DVD to actually go somewhere.

The unlikeliest cult hit of 2004 was What the (Bleep) Do We Know?, a lecture on mysticism and science mixed into a sort-of narrative. Marlee Matlin stars in the dramatic thread, about a sourpuss photographer who begins to question her perceptions. Interviews with quantum physics experts and New Age authors are cut into this story, offering a vaguely convincing (and certainly mind-provoking) theory about... well, actually, it sounds a lot like the Power of Positive Thinking, when you get down to it. Talking heads (not identified until film's end) include JZ Knight, who appears in the movie channeling Ramtha, the ancient sage she claims communicates through her (other speakers are also associated with Knight's organization). What she says actually makes pretty good common... Like a shooting star illuminating a dark night, Micael sheds light on the truth behind Jesus. He also comments on the current state of religion in the world. Sometimes the truth hurts, and sometimes, it hurts sooo good!!! I can't wait for Volumes 2, 3, 4, etc. Put me down for the whole series!!!
