Maybe I would have liked this film better if I hadn't watched it right after it predecessor, "Sex and Fury". My expectations were just too high. As it is, I found this follow up to be very disappointing. Where the over the top depictions of violence and sex felt entirely appropriate in the first film, in this film they come off as merely gratuitous and contrived, especially in the final sequence where scores of female nijas strip butt-naked prior to going into battle. Sure, I like the eye candy as much as anyone, but it works better cinematically if there's a discernable point behind it. Probably the worst thing this film has going for it is that its not directed by Norifumi Suzuki.
If you've seen "Sex and Fury", I'm sure that you'll want to see this film. You may even... More Info about this DVD Director(s): Reiko Ike - Reiko Ike DVD Release Date: Released the 27 September 2005 Usually ships in 24 hours

Fans of '70s Japanese Cult Cinema, in the vein of THE STREET FIGHTER, LADY SNOWBLOOD and SUKEBAN DEKA, should not hesitate to pick up this violent, stylish and outlandish Toei action film directed by Yukio Noda. If you squirm at PULP FICTION/KILL BILL-style violence, avoid this film -- but, if you liked any of the above-mentioned titles, ZERO WOMAN: RED HANDCUFFS is a must-see film!
Based on the manga by Toru Shinohara, the story is about a special police agent (Miki Sugimoto) who is arrested for the killing of a serial rapist, who turns out to be a foreign diplomat. But when the daughter of Japan's next Prime Minister (YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE's Tetsuro Tanba) is kidnapped, the police are ordered to retrieve her and eliminate the culprits (lead by KAMEN RIDER V3's Eiji Go). They... More Info about this DVD Director(s): Yukio Noda DVD Release Date: Released the 25 October 2005 Usually ships in 24 hours

Are you a fan of samurai films, but wish they were somehow...dirtier? Welcome to the deranged world of Hanzo the Razor, a weird blend of swordplay and sexploitation. The first Hanzo movie, Sword of Justice, came out a year after Shaft and Dirty Harry and fuses the influence of both: stout and surly Hanzo (Shintaro Katsu), a rebellious yet obsessively moral samurai, is also enormously well-endowed and provides almost unbearable pleasure to the women he "interrogates"--that is to say, rapes in the name of the law. Hanzo also tortures and blackmails without qualm as he slices through crime, uncovering corruption at higher levels in each progressive film. In Sword of Justice he overturns his own craven superiors; in The Snare, he breaks... "The Blind Dead Collection" brings together writer-director Amando de Ossorio's four-part horror masterpiece about the undead Templar Knights, skeletal corpses of corrupt Crusaders who worship Satan (or worse) dressed up in armor, who emerge from their tombs and walk very slowly after their victims. Atmosphere is the key to Ossorio's films and one of the interesting things about these films is that the rules of the game for the Blind Dead seem to change with each one, but that is just part of the fun.
"Tombs of the Blind Dead" ("La Noche del terror ciego") begins 500 years ago when the Templars were sacrificing virgins and drinking their blood. Eventually the locals attacked the Templars, burning out the eyes of the knights before burning them at the stake. Ever since then...
