This is the ER to keep! If you are even a minor fan (not like me) you should buy this season. If you go to every single website about ER you should see that the best rated episodes are from season 6.
Unfortunally it takes a loooooooooooooooooong time to release. While the seventh season is already avaliable in Australia this one is just being released in the US. This is a shame since the series were produced here. Gilmore Girls are way faster then this.
Anyway, looking forward to December 19th (release date).
One of the best seasons to date, and long overdue are seasons 7-12+
Having watched every episode out there I have to say this is one of the best seasons to date. The picture quality is superb and is in widescreen I purchased season sixth last year.I couldnt wait for the slow us release.Further where are seasons 7thru 12+? 5 Star rated.I own this set.Thank You Stewart L.
THE BEST SEASON!
The sixth season of ER is my personal favorite. It includes several guest appearances by Alan Alda, the addition of several new doctors including Abbey Lockhart and Luka Kovac. And of course, the sixth season includes the emmy winning, shocking exit by Kellie Martin after her and Carter are
stabbed by a patient, which leads to Carter's struggle with a nasty drug addiction. There are also many great trauma room scenes in the sixth season. The complete cast for season six is:
Anthony Edwards
Noah Wyle
Julianna Margulies
Gloria Ruben
Laura Innes
Maura Tierney
Goran Visnjic
Erik Palladino
Michael Michelle
Ming Na
Paul McCrane
Alex Kingston
Kellie Martin
and
Eriq La Salle
The sixth season was nominated for 9 emmys, eventually winning two. In it's sixth season(1999-2000), ER was the most watched drama series on tv.
It's no surprise. With great acting, powerful music and outstanding cinematography, season six of ER is a must own for ER fans and great drama
fans alike.
ER's fifth season was marked by the departure of one of the series' core characters and the entry of a new one. It opens with third-year medical student Lucy Knight (Kellie Martin) being introduced to the layout and members of the ER (we learn Maria Bello's character, Anna Del Amico, has left), which also serves as a shorthand way of introducing new viewers to the series. She makes a strong impression immediately and reminds John Carter (Noah Wyle) of himself, but before long the two find themselves at odds. Elizabeth Korday (Alex Kingston) has to start over as an intern in order to stay at County General and in the U.S., and gradually ends her relationship with Peter Benton (Eriq La Salle), who learns that his son is deaf. Kerry Weaver (Laura Innes) tries for the position of... More Info about this DVD Director(s): Brett Fallis DVD Release Date: Released the 11 July 2006 Usually ships in 24 hours

In its fourth season, ER had its strongest cast yet. Sherry Stringfield was missed, but British surgeon Elizabeth Korday (Alex Kingston) makes her debut, and Noah Wylie (John Carter) and Maria Bello (Anna Del Amico) made significant strides forward. Carter finds that his move from surgery to the ER has knocked him back to intern status, but he proves himself under fire when the ER is hit by a toxic spill. He also has plenty to worry about with his addicted cousin, Chase (Jonathan Scarfe), but he's helped by his developing relationship with Del Amico. Mark Greene (Anthony Edwards) is fighting legal and emotional battles following the previous season's incident, and strikes up a relationship with addled desk clerk Cynthia Hooper (Mariska Hargitay). Kerry Weaver (Laura Innes)... More Info about this DVD Director(s): Brett Fallis DVD Release Date: Released the 20 December 2005 Usually ships in 24 hours

CSI Las Vegas is the show that yields the true goods and its two spin-offs have not even come close to mirroring the quality of this stellar show. Season 5 was a good season (oh, heck... all of them were great...) but Season 6 was the one with the stories that seemed to affect our favorite CSI's more than before. Nick is still recovering from his tramatic expierience being burried alive and nearly eatedn alive by bugs and throughout the first half of this season, you see the effects it all has on him. His ordeal gets tied up midaway in "Daddy's Little Girl" which also features an intriguing investigation of a young woman who seems to have really bad luck with men... as in they either die or flee...
Warick gets married and in "Bodies in Motion" what viewers suspected for a while... More Info about this DVD DVD Release Date: Released the 14 November 2006 Usually ships in 24 hours

St. Elsewhere is viewed by critics as one of the best TV shows ever produced. The accolades are deserved. All the shows since - ER, Grey's Anatomy, Chicago Hope and others - have roots in St. Elsewhere, the show that set the standard for combining hospital drama and comedy.
As a teenager I came late to the table and was only able to view about two thirds of the original shows. However, I was able to record on VHS almost all of the shows I did see. I was excited when I heard they were going to (finally!) release the show on DVD and I could, at last, watch all the early episodes I had missed.
So here we have one of the most acclaimed shows ever and what we get is a flimsy slip case, double sided DVDs (that easily become scratched), and minimal extras. This is...
