Night Shyamalan's attempt at a newfangled mythology--about a depressed apartment superintendent (Paul Giamatti) who discovers a sea-nymph (Bryce Dallas Howard) who may hold the key to humanity's hopeful future--is intriguing enough to capture the imaginations of children and adults who haven't lost sight of their innocent sense of wonder. Cynics, on the other hand, will likely scoff at Shyamalan's awkward fantasy, which includes one victim--a film critic--widely interpreted as Shyamalan's revenge against reviewers who panned The Village. Shyamalan originally improvised this melancholy fantasy as a bedtime story for his children; unfortunately, it still feels mostly half-baked and ultimately ineffective due to a number of plot holes and inconsistencies that a writer as talented as Shyamalan should've been able to avoid. For those wishing to learn more about the film's troubled history, and Shyamalan's petulant split from Disney studios, The Man Who Heard Voices: Or, How M. Amazing....
For those of you pompus wind-bags only looking for "The Six sense: 2" THIS IS NOT THE MOVIE FOR YOU....
I'm so tried of reviewrs and cridits going on how its nothing like "The Six Sense" as wonderful as a movie that was....THIS IS LADY IN THE WATER!....
For of those of you going in to watch "Lady in the water" Its simply as it is stated, a bed time story. Its really cute and is NOT A FREAKING HORROR MOVIE, its more a of a fantasy comedy story.
M.Night is amazing and once people get their heads out of the butts cause its not "The sixth sense 2: Lady in the Water" they will see its amazing story.
All the characters in the movie were orginal, the acting was awsome and the story was classic. An orginal story you wont find anywhere else... For of those of you with a clear mind and wont judge till its over this is the movie for you. Its worth a watch and buy.

see the movie for yourself. I listened to these 1 star reviews and waited a while to see it. I loved it. All Im saying is, dont just listen to the bad reviews, go out and see it yourself so you can say if YOU liked it or not.

I honestly don't know how this waste of celluloid is fairing so well on Amazon's ratings. This was one of the most ridiculous stories ever told. M. Night Shyamalan clearly lost his mind if he thought the public would want to see this. Paul Giamatti must have lost a bet to Shyamalan to waste his time and talents on such an awful movie.
