    Excelent Video Collection

I bought this DVD from Amazon. I would say, this DVD is a excelent video collection. All the music lovers should have this DVD. Do not miss this DVD.I'm very happy to purchased it.I gurenteed about the satisfaction as a music lover.Good quality DVD.

    Disappointing

Whoever got the job of compiling this DVD should be shot at dawn because it is a poor representation of U2's history. There is no "Gloria", there is no "I will Follow", nor is there anything from Zooropa. Instead, the real focus is on the later years with the inclusion of two videos each for weak songs like "Walk on" and "Stuck in a moment" (both of which charted poorly internationally). There are three versions of "Vertigo". Why not just feature one version for each of these poor tracks which would then allow space for older videos like the first two I mentioned?

There are some positives, for example, an alternate version of "Pride" (on the special features") and "new years day" and "sunday bloody sunday" get an inclusion. You also get all three videos for "One" and the documentary for "One" is included (was also included on "Best of 1990-2000" DVD).

Die-hard fans will still want it, but overall it is a lost opportunity to present a comprehensive look at U2's history. How many versions of Vertigo on one DVD do we really want? None really.

How could they release this without a 5.1 mix

Especially for a music based DVD, releasing it without 1 5.1 mix is simply sad.

U2 - Zoo TV Live from Sydney (Limited Edition) DVD

This is the video document of U2's legendary ZooTV Tour that began in '91 in support of Achtung Baby and ended two years later after the band released Zooropa. This concert essentially followed that path - it began with the best that Achtung Baby had to offer and ended almost two hours later with several songs of Zooropa. This DVD is definitely worth owning. It may be strange at times, but it's never boring.

As the show begins in a stadium in Sydney, Australia, giant video screens spring to life on the monstrous stage that's shrouded in scaffolding. Excitement builds as horns roar, drums bellow, and strains from the chorus of Beethoven's 9th fill the air until - finally - Bono's silhouette appears in front of a blue screen accompanied by the opening riff from "Zoo Station."... U2 - Best of 1990-2000 DVD

Undoubtedly the worst 'Best Of' DVD ever made, even if someone gives this DVD as a gift you should punch that person in the face...after watching this DVD I felt like burning down the company that made this DVD . If you want to play a practical joke on someone then might as well give this DVD to him as a gift.

There might be emotional reasons why there were some positive reviews of this horror, but it can't be for the actual DVD. There aren't words to describe how bad it looks and sounds. Shame on the band for putting this out. Obviously all them cares about is getting the money and run with a 'Best Of' on DVD.

This item should be removed from the shelves for poor quality in picture. My taped videos on VHS from MTV and VH1 sound and look better than these... More Info about this DVD
