The girls that sing in this dvd are not really good, I was somewhat bored while watching some of the songs but mairead nesbitt is a very talented artist and her performance kept me glued to the tv, lisa kelly is also very good, the participation of these two artists is the only reason i bought the dvd and cd.
I'm a stichler and cynic with live concert dvds, and I assure you that this one shines. I am always looking to find the dvd that really wows me, but most are only good for a few songs here and there and then they collect dust. Ironically, I bought this one ASSUMING it was going to be just another gimmick (like "Trilogy"), but I was wrong. This DVD is what concert DVDs are SUPPOSED to be all about. It's a friggin EXPERIENCE.
Let's get the "negatives" out of the way. Much of the shots are smoky looking and hazy, and just about all of the shots are done with less-than-state-of-the-art cameras. This dvd is not for you unless u consider an interview worth it because thats basically all it is.
i watched the first dvd and for 90 minutes expected the best to come but it never did.its a 90 min dvd of just clips of basically nothing. toilet issues and drinking problems (not slipknot)
i regretted buying it and felt let down.
not what i expected
the 2nd dvd has its moments.the interview and the live shows which we already have more from disasterpieces.

The LA acoustic disc is fantastic and does include 5 more songs than the cd, however, both the cd and dvd still missed off Miracle, Virginia Moon and Floaty. All amazing songs particularly Floaty where Petra Haden (violinist) takes lead vocals. I saw the London Victoria Apollo gig and she was outstanding so why they cut this song is beyond me. Overall though the LA gig is very enjoyable and sounds great.
