The medical drama's second season could be diagnosed as bipolar; in other words, it got much worse and much better at the same time. Whiny, self-involved surgical intern Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), arguably the weakest spot in the otherwise likeable ensemble, had already left viewers annoyed. But season two, in which Meredith coped with being dumped by her married McDreamy (a.k.a. neurosurgeon Derek, a.k.a. Patrick Dempsey) by excessive drinking, sleeping around, gazing like a sad puppy and--unforgivable!--breaking the heart of longtime admirer/friend George (the cuddly T.R. I feel that Season 8 was incredible while Season 9 is far less entertaining. The dropoff is enormous. Stick to Seasons 1 through 8. Season 9 is the beginning of the end for this highly successful show. More Info About This DVD Director(s): David Silverman DVD Release Date: 19 December 2006

Spike Lee's chronicle of Katrina's advent, arrival, and aftermath is one of the most passionate, emotional, vibrant films of the last twenty years. It will move you to anger, sorrow, happiness, love, and best of all, an understanding of the amazing fragility and transitory nature of human life when confronted with epic destruction.
When Americans cheered at Emmerich's epic disaster film, "The Day After Tomorrow," little did we suspect that a disaster very much like it would be carved into the consciousness of our society, but this time with REAL victims. Worse still, Lee's film shows, brilliantly, the total incapacity of human civilization to deal with natural catastrophe on an epic scale. It also shows, with a very human face, the inner torture and destruction of those who... More Info About This DVD DVD Release Date: 19 December 2006

THE LIBRARIAN 2: RETURN TO KING SOLOMON'S MINES is the sequel to THE LIBRARIAN: QUEST FOR THE SPEAR (2004) and again features Noah Wyle as Flynn Carsen, the titular Librarian who, on the surface, toils in the New York Metropolitan Public Library but whose true purpose is to safeguard the ancient, historical (and often mystical) artifacts stored in a hidden section of the library - fabled artifacts such as the Holy Grail, the sword Excalibur, Pandora's Box, Tesla's Death Ray, Adam & Eve's apple, etc. As a side job, Flynn also gets to unlock the world's greatest mysteries. As he says in the movie, "You'd be surprised at what you can learn at the library."
TNT debuted THE LIBRARIAN 2: RETURN TO KING SOLOMON'S MINES on Sunday, December 3, 2006 and, yes, I tuned in with my large... More Info About This DVD Director(s): Jonathan Frakes DVD Release Date: 19 December 2006

Here's another dose of the hilarious & outrageous! "Married With Children" this season Peggy & Marcy get pregnant, Kelly goes to Hollywood, and the Bundys go to England. Below are what every episode is about. The only let down is that again there are no good special features, like commentaries or behind the scenes.
1. She's Having A Baby: Part 1 - Marcy and Peggy discover they are both pregnant, to Jeffersons joy and Al's horror.
2. She's Having A Baby: Part 2 - Al runs off to a bus station to escape Peggy's constant demands, and Jefferson does the same by running away from Marcy.
